I am basically an Engineer but I love History. And World History at that. Those who do not know history live to repent that. History is the shortest introduction to the psychology at work when countries or nations are taken as whole units, in trying to understand the business of their interactions. I am surprised that you dislike it. I do understand if are not in great love of it. Take it like a story- if you like fiction you can like history. One could take an enlightened view of History as a special kind of fiction or as one can say fiction peppered with some seeming reality!

i love history....mostly the medieval era of Indian rulers...it gives us a prospective of how our mindsets have changed over the years....and yes the way why we Indians behave in a peculiar way to a peculiar incident in our average India lives.... but yes i can say that i did find the history of the Mughals(Urdu word for mongols.) and their roots.. which go back to the Mongols... the golden era of The Genghis Khan and i believe our friend mad a good assumption that those who love fantasy usually like history..... happy mylotting.

I love History. I like to read them. But I have my preference for which sphere of History interests me. It's just too big and so I have to limit myself. I also read History of Science... on how Science has developed and how universities developed. And how ancient people debate over different scientific findings.

Hi, Yeah, history of world is very interesting. I like to read about mystery places such as pyramid, Stonehenge and so on. I also learn about WW1 and WW2.

I am very interested in the history of the world and in school I was at the top of my class in that subject. I also liked my teacher and how he taught. I also enjoyed the sciences, chemistry, biology. So since it is a required subject, try to change your attitude towards it so that you can pass and move on with life, choosing things that are of more interest to you. I wish you success!
