What's affiliate marketing???Has anyone tried it ??

Affiliate marketing is very lucrative. You sign up as an affiliate (there are tons of sites) and promote someone else's products. You get paid a commission. There is no worrying about shipping products, maintaining a store, etc. There are many, many ways to do promotions online without spamming (which is a big no-no). If you can build a simple web page, that is helpful too.

I have no idea...I have nothing to market. It seems like everyone is doing this but what does everyone have to sell. I wish I could understand it. I've also asked for help but I didn't get a reply that made any sense to me.
