I remember doing this when I was a child. We used to pull out the middle and suck the honey right off of it. On my walk today I spotted a honey suckle bush and it got me remembering all the neat things we did as kids. Have you ever sucked the honey off a honey suckle flower?

hello moneymommy i also remember eating the inside part of the honey suckle flower when i was a teenager. it tasted so sweet and delicious. i think that my parents still has honey suckle flowers that grow on the side of their yard. and it has been just a little bit too cool to go for a walk outside around here where that i live today. and sucking the inside part of a honey suckle flower like that was a neat thing that we did when we was younger and it is still a neat thing to do. thanks so much for the wonderful memory of that. take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

Your discussion reminisced me during my schooling time when I was a kid and on the way back home from school there was a fruit garden area with honeysuckle flower in there. Me and my friends many times sucked the honey off a honeysuckle flower. Many old folks said honeysuckle flowers are among the important herbs for clearing heat and relieving toxicity. How far is it true or not, I don't even know till now.

Yes I've done that many times. It was a game when we were children as to who could get the bigest drop.

Honey Sucking from a honeysuckle bush. Yes I remember doing this as a child. As a matter of fact I was just thinking about it the other day. Isn't a wonder that God has done such marvelous things with his creation. Imagine putting honey inside of a plant? Glory to God he does all things well...................
