Well, I would love to eat all night, but I would be about 400 pounds if I did that, so I control that. If I really feel like I have to have a snack, I have about 3 cups of plain popcorn with spices on top (you can buy those shakers for popcorn at the grocery store) or some cut up vegetables. Yogurt is also a really great choice. You don't have to give up the night time snacking, just cut down on what you are eating or change it to a healthier choice.

I agree with you. I would love to eat all night also but it just is not a great idea all of the time. Sounds like that popcorn with spices on top would be something hard to resist for me!
Yogurt is also a great idea for keeping it light and satisfying your stomach. The healthier the better!

I don't have the habit to eat at night .But when i am in bad mood ,i would have a lot of food to relieve the emotion at any time even in the midnight and then i would stay up until daybreak.I know it is a bad method to work out my bad feeling and it's also bad for my health. Do you have any means to solve it ,pls share with me !

I know eating at night is bad and alot of times I feel guity afterward! One of the biggest reasons I do is it for comfort lonelinees! There have been times it is to satisfy cravings or just plain hunger! Most now it is a really bad habit I don't know how to beak! If I knew how I'd wrote a book about it!

We do like to eat midnight snack too specially when we had our dinner too early. As we might feel hungry and if there is a snack remaining in the fridge, then we would like to eat.
But sometimes what we usually eat as a snack where fruits remaining in our ref. Most of the time i do slice pears, and apples and that's what me and husband eat. Sometimes we do have cashew nuts and some apple drink so that's what we eat.
But if we were luck enough to buy more in the grocery if the budget is not tight, then ice cream is present in the fridge and i use to put hersheys chocolate syrup with strawberry on top.

I do snack here and there. But I think it isn't a good idea to eat too much especially after a certain hour. I will have dinner and so will my family. For something little later on I might make some decaffeinated coffee and a light bite to eat but I won't scarf down a big sized meal after hours. I don't think it is good if you are watching your weight especially.

Hi there. I usually eat when I feel like it and yes, that includes eating at night. I usually eat whatever is available in the fridge just to soothe my appetite.

I do eat night and late nights too. I feel very hungry sometimes and mainly because of that i prefer eating even at such odd times. but not stuff like chocolate or icecream. I prefer something like a fruit or bread or some kind of carbohydrates which relieves my hunger. i do work in the night most of the time and i have to eat something or the other in order to wake all night and work.

I think it has to do with how busy we are during the day. Nightime is when I finally get a chance to relax and settle down and once I'm comfortable and settled then comes the food craving!
I do try to watch what I eat to avoid weight gain and limit myself to something light. But if I didn't and just went by my feelings I could eat a full course meal at midnight! LOL

I don't really do this anymore. nowadays I think I am so tired that I sleep pretty solid through the night. But, when I was in high school i would actually wake up at like 1am ready to eat a full meal. On a regular basis I would get up from bed and make a sandwich, eat, and go back to sleep. I'm glad it's a habit that didn't stick as I know that it's really bad for you.
