my boyfriend meet a motorcyle accident last august 2008.his right maxillary bones and right collar bone andbones near the ear fractured. thank God he survived. but leaving his right arm unable to move and right face as well. imagine, when he smile, his right corner of the lips wont go up and cannot close his right eyes and cannot raise his right eyebrows, but after 2 months, his face was fine.
sad to say up to this datem his right hand still cannot move, its not the bone was fractured, the nerves are stretch as the doctors would say. im just wondering on what support can i give when in fact the doctor cannot even tell if he can fully recovered or not? hope you can help me, he is having self pity now..

I agree with the previous response. Love the person no matter what their physical features are. God loves us (John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him may not perish but have eternal life).
God gave His only Son because of His love; try and express true love no matter the obstacles. If people may judge your boyfriend, remember, do not care what other people say. No person can truly judge a person. If you can love your boyfriend for who he really is, then do not leave him. If you truly trust in God (through prayer and reading of the Scriptures), then you may realize the safety of being and confiding with God. Being with him may be something that may be very hard for you, but staying and supporting him is truly a sign of real love and trust.

Show him all of the things that he is still able to do to help boost his confidence. Emphasize all of his abilities and strengths rather than weaknesses. Be sure that you show him that you love him just as much as you did before the accident.
