nadya suleman, the octuplets' mom has been lieing

So, in case you have been living under a rock, nadya suleman, the mom of LA's octuplets, has gone on record saying that she will not be using government money to pay for raising her children, and has been getting assistance from a church and, other than almost $500 a month in food stamps and receving disability payments on three of her children, and also receving temporary disability for herself, has been raising her kids with her own money. Now suddenly all these reports are surfacing that she has been pulling our legs this whole time.
This church says that the only thing that they know about this woman is that she inquired about sunday school classes at one point
Kiaser-permanente is asking for government funds to help pay for the care of these babies, nad while no figures have been released, you better believe that the cost of caring for 8 preemies has got to be high.
And how how is a single and unemployed mother going to afford to feed clothe and shelter those children on her own. It will be another year before she graduates. And I assume that she is not going to find employment before then. How could she, there are 14 little ones that will be needing her at home. I dont know how she is planning on continuing school.
Now I don't care that a single mom wants to have children.
I dont' even care that a single mom wants to have 14 children.
I do care that I am a tax paying citizen of the state of CA, a state that is in the middle of a uge budget crisis, and my tax dollars are going to help out a woman who has PAID for an IVF treatment to bring children into the world that she knew that she couldn't pay for without government assistance.
Even if she thought that she was just having twins, or a single child, she was already unemploied and on government assistance for the six she had at home.
What are your thoughts?

This women has no common sense! She would be better giving up all these 14 childen for adoption! There is no way she'll be able to take of all 14 childen! She'll have to go on total welfare for these childen! If shw isn't doesn't belong to a church is she the only one taking care of these childen? We allready know her mom wants no part of her or to help raise she grandchilden! Suleman has been leaving with her parents and paying her bills! Apparently her parents had to file bankrutcy because of thier daughter putting them in debt raise her other 6 childen! Suleman is selfish and probaly need to get help! She could have some mental problems! Anyway the way it looks this situation is getting worse and worse by the day!

I hope they take the newborns away! I also hope the state of Califorina does a mental valuation on her,too! A women in her siuation should of never should of put her in this situation! She alllready had 6 kids and wanted more! She should of realized there was that chance she could of had more then one when she had vitro! Guess what? She had 8 MORE BABIES! I believe the clinics who do vitro don't think of the person and the situation they might be in! They are just in it for the money! I hope someone passes a law that requires vitro patients to take a mental test to see if they are mentally stable to handle having childen! Not just mental but also finacially! Maybe then something won't happen agian!

There have been rumors that the state will take away her newborns and I can't say that I disagree. From the looks of the home she already has that is overflowing without the addition of 8 more kids, I have no idea where she is going to put the new ones! She does need to be mentally evaluated.

I agree she probably does need all the money she can get, but she isn't in this situation by accident, she PAID for an IVF treatment, and she knew that there was a chance that she could have multiples. She is in this situation because she wanted lots of kids, which is fine, but it was very irresponsible to do this when she knows she is unemployed and already on government assistance.
This isn't like she accidentally got pregnant, and has no way of affording these kids, she knew what she was doing. I just feel that it is a blatant disregard for her CA neighbors who are unwillingly paying for her to continue with her irresponsible behavior.

I do understand that she's been doing a lot of things that she shouldn't have done. She does need help though, financially and mentally.

This story has a lot of people pretty riled up. I'm a single mom and I work and I don't get any welfare. I had 4 and now only have one at home. It was tough juggling time and money, taking care of the home, work, making sure bills got paid...all of it. I really can't understand how she can possibly do it. I don't think she can. Even if she did not go to work, 14 little ones is just too much for one person. She sounds very selfish. Her mother is tired of it all and who can blame her? If she so loved the kids that she had then it would have been more loving to get a job somewhere working with children and support and raise the ones she already has. Adding 8 more will take time away and support from the others.
The doctor is guilty here too. He should never have implanted those embryos under these circumstances.

I think that this lady should be locked away in a loonie bin. I have heard so many things about this women, and one of them is that this women got sugery to look like Angelina Jolie. I think that this women needs to go to a therapist and that she isn't a fit mother. I can't believe that she would do this, not only to the government that is suffering a lot right now, but also to these children. She isn't going to be the one taking care of them, from what I have seen her mother is the one that has been doing that. I also believe that the government should be putting strict rules and regulations on what she can do for this money. One thing I know for sure is that he publicity needs to be cut off, the more attention people pay her, the more she thinks that what she has done is a good thing. I just have NO respect for this person at all.

I agree with you on all points but one, I think that the public eye should be on her as much as possible. If we put her under a microscope then she will have very little room to mess up. God forbid she is a negligent mother, she won't dare mess up with so much attention and anger directed at her. I hope she feels the pressure to be the best mother possible to these kids and to do what she has said she is going to do and get off government assistance.

The facts are coming out about this woman, and she needs serious mental help. There is no way this one, single woman will be able to take care of all 14 children without any help. She made the decision to have this many children, well now she should have to take all the responsibility for her actions. It should not fall to the taxpayers to pay for her choice. There is a big difference between her and Angelina Jolie.That Angelina has the money to afford her children.

this is so ridiculous!! I could not imagine how a mother could do this? It is even hard to raise 1 child? how much more for the 14? I think, this lady is not in her right mind. Or maybe she is just want to enjoy the opportunity of government aids.. which she could not get without these babies.

Well, there have been rumors that she as an obsession with Angelina Jolie. If you have seen pictures of her, she looks very much like she has had surgery to look like Angelina. And there were tabloid reports that Jolie is creeped out by her and that she regularly writes Jolie praising her for having so many children. If those rumors are true than she may need a mental evaluation

I not sure what it going through this women head but I would not have 8 kid and I was not working, even if I was working I would not want that many kid. How do you take care of 14 kids with no job you know the government cant not pay for every thing, if she wanted 14 kids then she should have waited until she found a job and had money saved up. I think that is just to many kids for any one I would lose my mind trying to take care of 14 kids. I just wondering if this women is now thinking maybe she should have waited until she had the money first. I mane every body is in her face telling her this was wrong and now she is getting who are saying they are going to kill her for having 8 kids and I don't think any one should be able to talk to her like that. On one hand I feel like she know it was wrong to do this at this time and on the other hand I feel like she is a women who just wanted a big family so I not really sure what to think.

Yes, I do agree with you, this woman should think first how she gonna support her children in the first place. I read an article in yahoo news, that her mother was finally fed up with her stubbornness. The octuplets according to her mother was the result of IVF because Nadya wanted to have many children as a result of being an only child she said she was lonely, then she has no husband to help her support her 14 children. I mean why she do this thing in the first place when she cannot be able to support the children.
I pity with Nadya's mother because she was so devastated with Nadya's decision to have many children. For me, it is okay to have children so as long as you can support them and not rely on public's help after all it's your decision to have them and the government is out of that decision. Why there are people who make decision without thinking the consequences?
You are correct exactly, what on earth this woman who paid for IVF treatment to have many children and then look for help in the government because she cannot support her children, good heaven's is she in her right mind?You know I came from the Philippines and we are prolife, we never tolerated abortion and divorce, but this woman really gone to the limits that I never agree with her decision to have many children where in fact she cannot support them all.

on the pro life topic, in her interview with Anne Curry, she had said that that was part of the reason she had so many embryos implanted in the first place, because she had six frozen and didn't want them to be thrown out. Which I understand wanting to save the embryos, but there are women who can not have children of their own who would very gladly have taken those little embryos off her hands.
I do feel bad for Nadya's mother because it seems that where the government money stops the grandma has to pick up the bills. She is already caring for the other six while the mother spends time in the hospital with the other 8. And Nadya has served her mother with a gag order so hat she cant do what nadya is doing and make money by giving interviews, which I think is just silly since the grandma is the only reason her brood has a roof over their heads.
