Some days I suffer from bloating. When I have bloating,I used to have tums(Digestion tablets)
The bloating is caused by many factors. Most common is swallowing air.The other important causes are, eating gas producing foods, hard to digest foods etc.
What you can do for bloating?
Take food slowly.
You can go for a post meal walk.
Have a herbal tea
Take sufficient fiber in your food.
If you are lactose intolerant, take lactose free milk.
Avoid coffee,tea and chocolates.
Take celery or asparagus after meals. They will neutralize the acid build up in the stomach.
Drink lot of water.
Avoid gas producing foods such as cabbage, cauliflower etc.
Do you have bloating problem? How do you get relief from it?Please share your experience. As bloating is a most common problem, lot of readers will be benefited.
Happy mylotting

Thanks for the information muru. I also take tums! If I am bloated then I find that if I drink a cup of ginger or peppermint tea then I am relieved of any digestive problems. I am not giving up my 2 cups of daily coffee as this does not cause me a problem. I also adore cauliflower but cannot take much cabbage now that I am older. I do drink lots of water as this is so important to a healthy digestive system and also very necessary to me as I live in a hot country. Blessings
