do you still respond to a discussion even if it has a lot of responses already?

well, for me, it depends on the discussion, if the discussion needs only a few answer and i think somebody already posted my idea or thoughts.. but if the discussion is a good topic to have a conversation i definitely read responses and post what i think. but sometimes, if a discussion already have 20 plus responses we're getting lazy to read all the response to find out whether there is someone already posted what we are going to say.
so do you still respond on discussions that already have a lot of responses?

I don't always read the responds, especially when there are a lot of them. if the discussion has a lot of responds then I won't answer unless I think the discussion is interesting or I have something to say.
but on discussions started by friends I always have to respond

Not always , if they are talking about something that I know nothing about then I won't respond, otherwise I will respond even if i think it's kinda lame.

It matters to me, because I make a point of almost always responding to my friends discussions, that's what friends are here for.

I will looks into the discussion topic first. If it's interesting enough than I don't care whether it have a lot of responses or not. I just reply it. If the topic is not attractive (at least for me) than I will ignore it. One more thing, when I want to reply I will not check and read one bye one the earlier responses.
