ewww. spitting is disgusting. I don't spit at all except either in the toilet or bathroom where I can wash the spit away.
Never would I spit in public. I don't want to spread my girly germs around the community. Lol.

In 1998, Josie Beshop, you know, my English teacher, said that in Australia (coz Josie comes from Adelaide), when she was young, her mom told her to swollow it if she felt to spit. My sis, would you do the same way? you said you never spit in pulblic, but if you have to spit in public, say, your stomach forces you to spit, what would you do?

I never had the urge to spit in public. The only times I have had the urge is if I have the flu and I am getting rid of the yucky stuff. So normally for these times, I am at home.

I don't do what I don't like seeing others do so I don't spit anywhere except in my bathroom. I have tissues in my car for this purpose and dispose ot them when I get home.
That's how my mother taught me and if some others had learnt what they were taught too then things might be a bit differet don't you think?

yes, i think the same too. maybe this habit might not have been taught by some parents to their children, that is why things get no different until these days.

I keep paper napkins in the car. So if ever the need to spit, i'll use the napkins and then dispose the napkins off later. I have seen people spit in all directions when driving and have even seen it land on pedestrians or other vehicles. It's disgusting i tell you.

i would never spit through the window much more spit on the floor of my car hahaha... anyways, i have a tissue in my car so if i should need to spit, i could make use of the tissue and just throw it to the garbage can later on.

if that will happen of of course i will not swallow my saliva so i would rather spit it but of course in a right way and proper way of spitting,so i will go stop my car in side of the road and spit to the a peace of paper or tissue paper and dump it.

good, that's the most proper way to face the situation, i think. 
you know, i heard for those who always spit out from the windows of the car, sometimes they forgotten that their windows were not open and they just spat towards the windows! so the spit just spread onto the windows! yucks! LOL!

Hi victorywp! haha..I do find that so gross! If I can't really avoid to spit and I am in the car, I usually get my Kleenex or any tissue paper and there i spit. lol..That is the best I can do in such circumstance. lol..

my husband always bring a tissue with him on the car and a plastic bag for the garbage..so if he needs to spit he will take a tissue and put on the plastic bag. its better to used it instead of spitting thru the windows or the floor

I have never spat out of the window while driving. Usually I swallow back. Well, it is my own spit. In the few occasions where I had to remove phlegm I spat out into tissue paper. To me someone spitting freely out of the window while driving is selfish. What if the spit hits a motorcyclist, or another vehicle? Do you like it to happen to you?

yes, swallow back or keep it in mouth will be other ways we can try ;). i really hate it, as you said, if the spit hits me while i'm riding my bike or if it hits my car!

yes we should always keep some tissue in time of need. i believe in the blind leads the blind, the uneducated parents brought them up.:)

oh yeah that bites, but i also went to do it and forgot the window was up. lol. when i used to go out with a freind someone always forgot to roll down the window and he used to get so mad. lol

I wont spit through the window ,nor will spit on the floor of my vehicle.I will spit on tissue ,I will throw it into ashbin later when I get out of my car.I hate people spit through the window or throw trash through the window.Its not environmental friendly.

I can't say I need to spit very often. I would use a tissue and throw it out later I guess. I wouldn't spit out of the window because aside from being an extremely rude thing to do, knowing my luck the wind will blow the spit back in my face!

how do you manage it? keep it in your mouth until you arrive at a certain destination? LOL!
