If headaches are something that have just started or are persistent, it best to have the condition checked out with the doctor.
Otherwise, the mind is very powerful and a dream that you can't even remember can cause you to wake up feeling rough and tense which can easily cause headaches.
I practice meditation every morning (link to instructions for meditation are on my profile page), and it is extremely calming. In this way, if I have awoken with a headache it soon disappears.. :-) Derek

In yesteryear I encountered that problem, and I found my digestive system not working properly. After I treated it with dietary fiber (bulk-forming laxatives). The best way of adding fiber to the diet is increasing the quantity of fruits and vegetables that are eaten. This means a minimum of five servings of fruits or vegetables every day. Finally, it resolved and no more morning headache.

I get headaches all the time in the morning....especially when I don't have my coffee early enough, like when I sleep in until 10 or so, I will have a headache because I usually have a coffee by 8. I would think leaving the window open would help. Not make it worse.
Good luck, maybe make a dr appointment to talk to your doctor.

hello moneymommy
i hate it when i wake up in the mornings and right off of the bat, i have a headache like that. sometimes when that happens i blame it on not being able to sleep good during the night or sometimes i will blame it on my sinuses acting up on me. sometimes i even blame my morning headache like that on my bad teeth. so i do not know if sleeping with the windows open in your bedroom like that would cause you to wake up with a headache like that or not. i hope that as the day goes by today, that your headache will get lots better and leave you alone.
take care and have a beautiful day today!

I sometimes wake up with a headache
normally its because of sinus congestion
but on occasion its due from drinking too much the night before
