I do have abdominal pain or dysmenorrhea everytime i have my period. My girl friends are having that too. Some wont be able to go to work because of it and some passed out... Are you experiencing dysmenorrhea girls? how do u handle it? are there something or anything we have to do to at least lessen the burden we are having evrytime we have or period?

Oh, I am lucky. I usually have a abdominal pain for about several minutes everytime. I always drink a cup of hot brown sugar water at that time.

hello pinky_laces, I'm one of the lucky girls who dont experience dysmenorrhea. I never experienced that. A day can pass without other people noticing that I have my period. But now, I found a product that can help you minimize the pain. it is a sanitary pad at the same. It is a good product, and it can heal not just dysmenorrhea. If you are interested just give me a message.

I end up twisting my body when I am in pain. I just lie down and not move so much. I try to sleep it off. But when I'm in school, I try to sit still but actually I can't help bending over. Like what the person who responded before me mentioned about hugging her knees. I have this friend who takes medicine for dysmenorrhea relief.. I don't know what it is called..

Before i had my son i though it was pretty bad then. After i had my son my monthly pain is actually worse and more chronic. I dont do nothing because alot of that stuff doesn't work.

before i gave birth, i used to suffer from dysmenorrhea. every time i have one, i simply take pain killers like mefenamic acid and take a rest. after the medicine takes effect, i can go on my usual routine.
