I usually have plain coffee. My gas is out so I can't roast my own, forcing me to buy pre packaged stuff. I made a mistake and grabbed the wrong bag. it's not bad, but I need to get my gas back on so I can roast my own beans.

hello thecatlady
i have never heard of bedouin coffee with cardamom in it. i do not know if i would like that flavor of coffee or not. i would have to taste it first. or i might even have to take the coffee back to the store to exchange it. and i usually always purchase Folgers regular plain coffee. i have a fresh coffee pot of coffee brewing right now and it is almost done. i like four teaspoons of sugar in my cup of coffee, either splashed with some milk, some kind of cream or some kind of a dairy non-creamer in it. i hope that you enjoy the flavor of the coffee that you purchased, or pick up by mistake.
take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

It doesn't have strong flavor. I live in the Middle east so we have a variety of foods that aren't common in most parts of the States. I love the food here. But with coffee I like it Italian style, good beans, dark roast and unpolluted with any additives.

I prefer my coffee unflavored, although I do like to experiment with different varieties. Once in a while, I enjoy a bit of chicory in my coffee, as it adds a bit of smoothness and maybe a nuttiness...but is not actually a flavor. My son, who lives with us at the moment like flavored coffees as well as unflavored ones. I keep an assortment of flavored creamers on hand for him, and that does the trick.

I also prefer mine unflavored, black and strong. I just bought the wrong bag. LOL oh well I will drink it. I remember those flavored creamers in the States. I used to buy them for my boyfriend. He liked them. I don't use cream in my coffee.

I'm really not in to all these different coffees. I drink Jamaican coffee just with milk. Occasionally I drink a latte at a gas station and that's that. I become quite confused on day in the States when I ordered a cup of coffee and was offered so many different kinds!
Actually, I became quite shrewish and my voice raised by several notches as I kept saying that all I wanted was a cup of regular coffee with milk. The young man would not stop giving me options! This went on for so long and my daughter began to laugh at me.
So I use the instant Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee for day to day drinking and of course, for special occasions, I use the ground coffee and brew it fresh in my coffee maker. When I brew I add a little salt to bring out the coffee flavour. Excellent post. Please excuse me while I make a cup of coffee. Blessings

I could use another cup too. And some food. Just what food I don't know. Past or rice? I like regular coffee. Not instant. I detest instant. It doesn't taste like coffee to me.

I've had coffee with cardamom. Sometimes I even use chili powder. With unflavored coffee, I use Splenda with either half/half, milk, or cream. When it comes to flavored, I'm not really picky at all, but I like Macadamia Nut, Chocolate, Mocha, Almond, and Hazelnut. However, I've never heard of a coffee flavor that I didn't like.

Chili powder? That's unusual. What prompted you to try that?

Hi Thecatlady
I drink daily three cups of coffee.
I like only plain coffee.I think I drink coffee for that fine coffee aroma. So I don't
like coffees of any other flavor.
In my young age,my parents didn't allow me to drink coffee. They told me that coffee
is not a healthy drink.
But now the time has changed. Now the researchers say,by drinking coffee we get certain benefits such as reduced risk of type2diabetes,gallstones,colon cancer, liver diseases and parkinson diseases.
Drinking coffee should be in moderation as increased heart rate, increased blood pressure etc can be caused by excess coffee consumption.
Happy mylotting.

I wasn't allowed to drink it as a kid either. They said it would stunt my growth. Now that I am an adult I drink it. Way to much at times, but my blood pressure is only 80/50 so I don't have to worry about it. I prefer really good coffee without anything in it.

I don't drink coffee... it gives me diarhea
I have, however, had tea with cardamom, and liked it.

But think of the money I've saved by not having to have a daily fix of Timmie's.

I hate grabbing the wrong thing by mistake. That's how I got the coffee with cardamom. I meant to grab the plain one. Oh well. As far as life problems go, it's minor.

I've never had Tim Horton's. When I was in the States I drank Pete's coffee. I was buying and drinking it before it was a chain. He had a tiny shop about the size of my bathroom. Pete's coffee is the best.
