Janet Evanovitch, with the Stephanie Plum series, Phillip Pullman with His Dark Materials Trilogy, Laurell K. Hamilton with her Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series, Ian Fleming with his James Bond 007 series, Sara Douglass with her Wayfarer Redemption series and Agatha Christie with her Hercule Poriot mysteries.

I know the feeling. I crunched the series, one after another. COmpleted 12 in a few weeks, and waiting to get 13.

Clive Cussler, Mary Higgins Clark, Robin Cook, David Baldacci - all excellent writers. All have totally different styles though.

I read almost of all Mary Higgins Clark from 1999 backwards. I haven't read any of her newer stuff - but I liked what I read before.
