I'm a woman and very curious about baby. In the previous discussion I ask about how baby can learn language. Some mentioned about the interaction between family and the baby. I just want to know, what is the first word that come from your baby? Is it "Ma ma,,," or "Pa,,pa..."? And how you celebrate it?
I want to hear "Mom and Dady" from my future child as weel :D. Happy myLotting!

I am pregnant in my 6th month and I am also waiting for my baby's first words. I assume most of the times first babies words are just some sounds, multiplexed letter set as "aga", "boo", "bee"... Later on follows "mum", "dad". My brother has a 7 month old son and now he says "pa-pa"! :)

My baby's first word is "pa pa" then she learned to say "ma ma." And now that she's a grown up, she can say a lot of words and can even talk now.
It's a great feeling being called by your first child "Momma." Back when she was a baby she used to call me on mah first name because that is what she always heard from her grandparents and uncle.

My first childs first word was Momma, he said it for about a week, then went to da da for another week and then he continued to add new words every week. My Second child's first word was dada... and that was her only word for the longest time. We really didn't celebrate either one of our children's first words, other than a wow, and a clap of the hands. It does make your heart melt the first time you hear your child say it for the first time.

My daughter's first word is "Daddy". She was able to say it when she was 9 months old.
