I mean I dont know why but when I go on my cousin computer they always get a virus. They say its my fault...all I did was go on youtube. She said youtube gave her viruses...lol is that possible. I havent gotten a virus before on this computer. You know school computers are pretty safe and block everything. I tried googling stuff and click like alot of things then these anti virus sellers pop up. I think its kinda weird for that happen since it never happened ever before. Have you gotten any? How?

I probably wasn't you and the real reason would be they don't have anti-viruse/anti-spyware protection. There are also fairly good free anti-virus/anti-spyware programs, but be careful that you don't download any fake ones.
On my computer I have Symantic Client Security. It works fairly well and cleans up any viruses I get.

May be. I hope you are right.
Me also use Symantec Corporate Client really nice one. When I have some virus behind my browse time my antivirus clean them istantly. Though some virus cause computer to restart but Symantec also clean them during the boot period. I like it because I don't know when virus come in my computer but antivirus can detect it.

Well viruses, spywares can enter a computer by simply going to a website because the contents of these pages are stored in a temp folder in the computer. Usually a good anti-virus can detect this and prevent access to the infected file.
About youtube having a virus, I'm not sure with that. I go to youtube but I don't get any virus. It is probably a stealth virus that stays in the system and is triggered by some activity.

For you to be safe and not to be blamed, be sure that the pc your going to use has a dependable anti virus installed in the pc. What particular anti virus do you use.
There are free down loadable anti virus for you my friend. From AVG, to Anti trojans, anti worm virus.
For us we use NOD32 anti virus. We see to it that we update it daily on the internet so it can be more efficient when you use it. Some do use Kaspersky, Norton , PC Cillin and more.

youtube will definitely not give you a virus. what has happened is some fake antivirus sites trying to sell you their products. In fact it happened with my friend that he downloaded such a product and that itself was a virus which set his homepage to a particular website for promotion. To prevent pop-ups you can use popup blocker softwares

I think your cousin must have a virus problem coming from somewhere else. Don't you think that if youtube could give people computer viruses it would be common knowledge? Millions of people use youtube.
Tell your cousin to get some good anti-virus software like Norton or AVG, which is free, and to stop blaming you!
