Yesterday i was reading an old text book of class 12th standard, and i came across this very beautiful quote about life's journey and its unending quest. I think you guys must have come across this quote atleast once in life; it said; the woods are lovely dark and deep; but i have miles to go promises to keep, before i sleep, before i sleep."
I donot exactly remember the other lines in it; but these lines struck my mind instantly. ANd to tell you the truth, although i have come across many quotes in life, but this is one that I rate among the best. There is another one that i want to share with you all; and it says "Be the change that you wish to see in this world."
Don't think that being an Indian i have chosen this very quote by father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi; but if you delve deeper into the lines, you will find that the entire philosophy of change and improvement requires you to look deeper into this aspect.
I would appreciate if you guys could share some of the quotes that have inspired you the most.

i can't remember exactly where i got this quote, but i have been using this as an introduction to my blog for 5 years already...
In the end I realized,
I was loved more than I loved
I was trusted more than I trusted
And what I was looking for was not to be found
But to be made.
And in my other blog, I also love this quote that I use in the "about me" section of my page:
I tried to live for others
And sometimes I succeeded.
I searched for God's countenance
in the faces of those around me.
If there were days I did not see Him,
it must have been because I looked the other way.

Yes too good! Come to think of it, most of the time we keep on complaining for not receiving the best end of the deal. For always getting something far more than we expected. But in the end, if we take a closer look at what we've been doing with our life, our relationships, we realize that it was us who were expecting more from others are the ones who are most guilty of not giving more.
thanks! you've got a very good topic:)

"The skillful leader subdues the enemy's troops without any fighting; He captures their cities without laying siege to them; He overthrows their kingdom without lengthy operations in the field. With his forces intact he disputes the mastery of the empire, and thus, without losing a man, his triumph is complete." Sun Tzu
This is a quote from The Art Of War. I like this one the most but the whole book is full of quotes that have motivated me in life. While Sun Tzu was mapping out the politics and strategies of warfare, the information can be applied to all aspects of life. This quote basically says the wiser man will be the victorious one. I like that sentiment.

Amazing buddy!
It almost sounds perfect! And to have such a man in true flesh and blood, would be just awesome; a man with a perfect rationale, and an unending wit, and most of all, the ability to make everyone see rhyme and reason even amidst the insanity of war.
Very well said friend!

It is indeed a wonderful thought that sums up the basis of peaceful existence in this crazy world filled with tensions, hatred, jealousy and what not. I really wish that things were really as simple as you have stated in this wonderful quote.
Thanks a lot for sharing your best quote with us.

Dream.
Believe.
Survive.
This is a Philippine search for actors and actresses show. I was able to witness it and this quote had punched straight into my brain. Oh yeah it emphasize reality of life's color. It's human nature to dream and believing can make it happen. If you strive hard for it, in the end you'll survive.
