My manager on vocation again,I am one senior staff here .We got one supervisor up and some staff below!I think that my department has a lot of problems to solve,i.e. staff late again, management, complain about our supervisor, but my manager just go vocation again without solving these things for a long time? And talk about that supervisor, all she could do is repeat one thing"waiting for our manager back,I don't know what to do?"
I just want to quit ,what a team, what a manager?
What u will do when u are in my situation?

Wow, what a manager. If I were in your position I would have quit my job a long time ago. Managers are the ones who should be leading a team and keeping the staff in check. Just a suggestion though maybe you could just keep on working doing the right thing and im sure you'll get notice for your work and maybe even replace your vacationing manager. Just a suggestion though. But if you really feel that you cant take anymore then its time to think about the future.

Since your supervisor doesn't know what to do but only wait for the manger then I will just act as a manager. I will co-operate with the staff and influence the supervisor to agree with me. The staff are lack of responsibility and supervisor can't be a leader while the manger is not there, I think it's the time for you to be their head and lead them. I', sure you can do it! Leading is a basic of management.

Hi, it seems you have been put in a tough situation. If I was you, I would take control of the office and start dealing with the problems you can handle. This way, when you boss came back, you can say that you did something to solve problems in the office while your boss was away. He or she will be happy and maybe even promote you because you can show that you know what to do when the boss is not around and you handle your business. Thats just my advice.
Good luck!

if i am in that kind of situation with lots of problems that are unsolved, maybe my head will burst..:p i would probably quit and find another job where there is cooperation and there is unity..policies and regualtions in the organization should be properly and strictly imposed and followed.. i cannot stay a long time with that kind of situation especially that i am the person who solve problems immediatley.i find solutions to it as early as possible. but in your situation, there are problems that are left unsolved. you manager are on vacation again without talking and paying attention to the problem.. so why should i waste my time working on that organization if my manager "mismo" doesnt work his job well. i better find another job.. =)

If I were you, from that kind of situation,I would try to help solving such problems even in a little way.Rather than thinking only of those problems within the company, I will just make a step to make it be solved little by little instead of being part of that problem.I will also try to talk to the supervisor that while the manager is on vacation, let's just encourage other employees to make themselves be more responsible on their job.Prayer is also a powerful help for our organization to be on its right track even without the presence of the manager.Even the manager, I will try to find my time to talk with him to let him be reminded of his responsibility in the organization.
