WTD=What They Do
When I'm out of the shower I use Clinique toner on my face and neck
Clean my ears
Put Clinique moisturizer on my face and neck
Put Clinqiue eye cream under my eyes
I then apply some bodyshop body butter on my body mixed with my own concoction
I then out some Clinique concealer under my eyes
Rub some elf cosmetics blush on my cheeks
Put some Prescriptives Pressed Powder on my face and neck
I put some primer and then Clinique mascara
I then put some deodorant
...voila!
What do you do to claim that you are ready to face the world outside the bathroom?

I don't think that caring for your body is being vain. However, I do think that telling people what brand you use to care for your body is being boastful. Not to get you mad or anything, but what do we care about the brand you use? You may be saying that it is really up you what you put on your discussion and you are right about that. I am just merely stating my opinion about the difference between being "vain" and being "boastful".

I don't think I'm being boastful, I'm just merely honest. I wanted to exchange notes with people. I wanted to know if whoever used whatever was happy about it or not. For someone to look at this quite negatively, I could say that you're quite insecure and even jealous. Not my intention to be "boastful", yet you keep on pointing that out. If you're jealous and just had nothing to add for my question, you should've just had some more ice cream, cake or some chips to add to your insecurity. Maybe that would've helped to your insecurity complex.
