It was said earlier that coconut oil is not good for health so I used refined sunflower oil for cooking. Now the researches proove that virgin coconut oil is best for health and I have switched over to virgin coconut oil.The food tastes good though the virgin oil is a bit costly.Which oil do you use for cooking?

Personally i use extra virgin when i can. For a while I was using macademia nut oil. It was said to be very good for you, and apparently helpful in diets because it speeds up the metabolism. Don't quote me on that though, I just read it somewhere.
But for general cooking I use the same as you used to - refined sunflower oil. I just can't afford any of the others

We normally use sunflower or ground nut refined oil for cooking. Have not every tried virgin cocounut oil, kids may not like its taste as they have developed a taste for refined oil, since their childhood. I also hope that vigin oil would be a better option for cooking. No doubt recent reports about amount of trans-fats in refined oils are quite disturbing and alarming, yet I understand that we have limited options.

I used frequently a free cholesterol cooking oil & nice to use it everyday.
I havent use any virgin oil for cooking but i sometime use it when i cleanse & try to wash out the stones in my galbladder as many recommend me to use it coz it very effective.

Hello! We never use coconut oil for cooking purposes.Instead we use mustard oil or sun flower oil for cooking purposes.Among these sunflower oil is good for health as it is free from cholesterol.thanx.

I use the cheap cooking oil.I usually use vegetable oil and sunflower or olive oil for my cooking. Virgin coconut oil is little bit expensive, if it will be cheaper then i would prefered to use it coz of the health benefits that we can get from it. But as of now i stick to my old cooking oil.
Happy posting.
