Have you ever thought you had the perfect product, or the perfect idea to make money, but for some reason you just couldn't go throuh with it. I seem to have this knack to come up with these ideas, but afraid to invest all of our money into it(i have a wife and 2 kids to feed). so i ask friends if they want part of it. they act like it is a ok idea but don't want to invest in it. so i forget about it until i see it on tv or in a magazine 6 months later. anyone else not have the guts to put your life savings on the line for what you know is a sure thing?

i understand your fear and most people that have started corporations with an idea (think of apple) took a big leap of faith before they made any money at all. i would suggest you talk to friend, do a ton of research and go from there!
i have heard a story of 2 Canadian (yay!) guys that hit up their friends for cash because they had this great idea for a game board during the recession ridden 80's and of course, they didnt know if it would be a success or not either...it was a big hit and has had a zillion different spin offs! the game? trivial pursuit!
