I am so mad right now, all my effort and my reply is lost!

hiii dragon54u..Nice o meet you here once again..Yeah i had also faced the same problem once..But right now i haven't faced..Once i written my fulll response wich worth 5 lines..and hit the post response and i takes a minute to load and atlast it came as load error in mylot...And then i lost it..I feel sad and then i had written again it...But i think that this is not the problem of mylot..This is problem of our net..any way right now i am good..Gud posting...happy mylotting...

Yes i too have troubles posting replies lately.I am also having network problems in my home.Because of that i cannot post often in mylot.I have to always copy the message i type and later post it.Good we both have crossed the five hundred post mark to get the copy paste feature.Think of the people below 500 posts.They will be stuck.

I am sorry about that, I know that had to be annoying for you to have thought of that long response, and then have it go away because of mylot. Sometimes it will still post if it takes too long and you have to refresh. I am not sure about if the error message comes up though. I haven't noticed anything except for the payout a few days ago but now I know to expect it between midnight, and midnight. I am not sure if that is how they did it before or not, but that's what I am paying attention to now.

This has also happened to me in MyLot, but, it was mainly my fault. Thank goodness my reply wasn't as wordy as yours. I know that on some websites you can hit Control Z and what you previously had typed up will show again. Because of the way MyLot is set up this may not work for this particular website. Yea, now that I'm able to copy and paste (544 posts! Yay!) I will also make a concerted effort to do so each time I post a discussion and/or response. Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

Yes, I have had MANY slow or disconnected replies lately (just this and last week). I'm glad I read your post, because I thought it was just my computer (even though I haven't had any other problems with it). Maybe when you are having problems it is due to a high volume of members on Mylot at one time. Maybe they need to update or add faster and larger servers.... hmmmmmm.

Its really to bad and I share your anger with you as I have been a victim of similar circumstances. Just the other day, I typed along response and it was very serious and difficult too as it took a lot of my time but happily when I went to submit it was with its snail's pace and lo! the page failed to upload and my content was gone. Ho! I am mad. Felt like crying. But I had no option. Switched the computer off and went down the hill on my bike to refresh. Yes do that when it is relatively long and serious thing copy it in the words and in case of loss do it paste. But what to my fate? I can not do it now for I have not reached the magical figure of 500. lol.

No, I haven't had too much trouble lately, dragon. But then again I tend to use the copy and paste feature every time I participate on here so that I don't have this problem to begin with. I have had the same thing happen to me a few times before in the past when I was under 500 posts and needless to say I was mad too, especially when I put so much effort into what I had said. It's definitely an experience that I don't want to have to go through ever again, so I try to be more careful now when I mylot.

I have had this happen in the past and it drives me crazy! I hate to lose all of the work that I have put into a discussion and then it takes me double the time to get the post here. I wonder if they have been having software problems too as it seems that there have been some problems with the site lately. I am sure that it will work out and we will be fine. We just have to bear with things right now.

Yes i know how it feels when you type something but after submitting receive the page load error in mylot back arrow cache system not there,so what i do everytime i type something first copy the lines then go for submit button.You better follow this,

I just did! Right now! uufffffaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I too will be copying everything before hitting the submit button. It just doesn't come out the same when I have to retype it a second time Maybe myLot has too much traffic at certain times now?

Ohhh, I know that is so aggrevating when that happens! I know exactly how you feel dragon54u! That has happened to me before but not lately... thank goodness. I always tell myself after that happens that I am going to copy my replies before hitting the submit button too. But, then after awhile I forget because it doesn't happen to me that frequently... & then, it happens again! Grrrr

It has happend to me as well - but even if I should have copied the stuff I would have to write it all over again (I so much long for that 500 mark) I guess it might me myLot some times, but most of the times it has to do with loosing connection for a short period of time. I would not care much if it wasn't for all the other things as well - like getting from a rating 9 (87/100) to a 6 (55/100) in a day and not even have one respons or discussion done the day before and things like that - getting the raking in all subjects get much lower and so on. Perhaps till will be back to normal soon!

hello there,....a similar thing has happened to me a few days back.,.....i was so frustrated that i started a discussion about it.......and now i see you're in the same situation.. but its good that you can copy your responses and paste in case they are very long..........i don't have that option yet...:-) happy mylotting....and have a nice day.

I met such trouble for many times,each time it shows a page load error,just the same as you.And i always classify such troubles into the reason that the computer is too old and too slow.

Every now and then I have that problem, but instead of getting mad, I just begin to come up with something else.

It rarely happens... but it does happen. The problem has always been there. I lost my second post when I joined mylot over two years ago. These days I copy every post I make before hitting the submit button. That way when it fail... all I have to do is paste it in a new post.

I have had that happen to me a couple of times. it really sucks! and it's so annoying... anytime I notice or think that its going to do that to me. i will quickly copy my reply so i don't lose i and sometimes i do it anyway if it's a long one just to be on the safe side. ya never know when that might happen...and when it does i'm ready for it now lol hate having to re-type out something i've already typed out once.

When mylot changed its features, I really had terrible times posting discussions and responses to the extent of thinking to leave the site! It was really terrible because everytime I posted longer discussions, the system suddenly hung and deleted such attempt! It was really bad!

That hasn't happened to me on MyLot yet. However, I've made epic messages that I had to retype before. DANG COMPUTERS GWAR!
