How to insert smileys in mylot discussions and responses?

I have seen some people are changing font styles and sometimes colors. So many are also inserting images. It looks very good when we show our emotions with a figure, here using a smiley figures. Could you please tell me how to insert a smilies in mylot discussions? Where can I find the codes of it?

Just wait until after your 200th response and you will have the power of italicizing, underlining, emboldening and putting smileys in your posts. Yes, it's fun using these additional features as they add life and emphasis in our responses and comments.
