Not Sure If I Feel Up To Posting Today

I'm undecided whether or not I'm in the mood to post a lot on MyLot today. On the one hand, I'm less than $1 away from reaching a payout for this month. And normally when I'm so close, it really motivates me to post a lot on MyLot and try to earn as much as I can to get the highest payout I can get! But on the other hand, I had a bunch of discussions deleted yesterday. And that always gets me down. Normally when I get discussions deleted, it bums me out and I have to take a break from MyLot for a few days before I'm in the mood to post again.
What about you? Do things that happen on MyLot affect how much you post, or not?

Haha, true! I guess what bums me out about getting my posts deleted is that it feels like a waste of my time! I'm not in the mood to post again for awhile because I'm afraid of losing even more of my precious time!

it is really good for you, jands, that you are only doing mylot to have funtime with the community. most of us however, have targets which may differ from each one, though. as for me, i am trying to accumulate all the points that i can. this is why i am making one response after another as plentiful that i can manage in a day.
now, when my points earned goes down with the deleted discussions, you can bet, that i go down with it, too. yeah, it is the feeling of having wasted so much time and effort.
this is the reason why i talked with my son this morning to help me out in starting doing other sites on saturday. i must admit that i am not good at starting all on my own on any site. i always call on the help of my two sons to be able to do so.

I know how you feel; it happened to me when I first joined; I had two good discussions (or so I thought) and they were both deleted. It did put it me off for quite a long time until I posted a discussion asking for advice as to why my previous posts were removed and a kind MyLotter explained the rules to me and enlightened me. I felt a bit like you do last night. Because I try to do so many posts per day there are times when I have to catch up at night time like last night. I was tired and I was fresh out of ideas and ended up just going to bed. Sometimes when you don't feel like it you just need a break and tomorrow is another day!

as for me, i am considering slowing down on mylot activities. i spend so much time around here, earn so little, and always, my points goes down by so much each day. like the other day, i left mylot with over 8850 already, when i got back it was way down below it.
i have been working hard on mylot because, i need to reach the 10 000 mark fast. i have to make up for my lost years. however, it appears that i have to work on it not only with extra effort but, with a much longer time yet.
it is really disheartening why deletions of discussions keep on happening here. recently i was forced to take much precaution on those discussions that i pick to respond to. yet, it appears that what i do sieving discussions is never enough.
i hope that all of us, who are doing honest mylotting, will finally be able to figure out what is really behind all these deletions and the minuses that we get from our earned points. this is really an experience which is very disappointing.

Yeah, I noticed the deleted discussions as well. It was all related to the twitter discussions, rite?
I wonder why they deleted those threads.
I was actually looking forward to more updates in those discussions.
Could those deleted discussions have contributed to your drop in star ratings?
Well, if you do not have the mood to post here, don't. Take a break. Otherwise, you will feel like it is a chore posting here rather than enjoying your time here.
Go take a break. Read a book or watch some TV. Gather new discussion ideas. Then come back here to post them. You be amazed how a short break can rejuvenate your feelings of interest for this site!

well, sometimes i`m not in the mood to post a lot, but a few (3-5) i still post for one day. When i`m in the mood, i must say that i post a lot, maybe more than 50/day, but somedays i come to mylot, and search for a good threat, and i don`t find anything so good to make me post immediatly. In thouse days, i log on mylot for at least 10 times, but finally i answer to some questions.

I haven't had a topic of mine deleted yet (well, not that I know of), so I'm always up to posting here on myLot. Of course I've been really busy lately with homework and exams and stuff, and am not posting as much as I would like to be (especially since I've earned so much more this month than I did last month). But since you are only $1 away from payout, I think you should post as much as you're able to to get a higher payout. Don't push yourself too hard though, it all still depends on how you feel. I wouldn't let something like getting a discussion deleted upset me, but it's different for everyone.

Same feeling here, so far i just post one before this and i don't really feel like posting more. Maybe i am just really tired. This past few days i've been really busy working out my small refilling business and most of the time i am outside and when i got home i am just so tired like right now but i am trying to motivate myself so i can reach payout this month. Though i know there still a week but i really have to work more here so i can reach the payout as i still have to $3 plus to add to be able to reach the payout. I'm just hoping that i will feel alright very soon. God Bless! Happy posting!

I could understand your frustrations but may I ask why your discussions would be deleted? If I were you, I would let myself be upset for a day or two and then I will be back again and post more to make up for the loss.

I don't know why they were deleted. I did post a handful of very similar discussions all in different interest groups, so maybe they were deleted for repetition? But I was trying to reach different users... and all of the discussions were appropriate to the interest topic it was posted under.

hello trickiwoo
i am so sorry to hear that some of your new Mylot discussions have been deleted like that. i have had that happen to me before around here at Mylot as well, and like you said that sucks, but it happens. and congratulations on you being less than a dollar away from making your payout amount. whoo hoo! it is nice when you reach your payout amount here at Mylot. and it is even nicer when the money that we do earn here at Mylot goes through to our PayPal accounts. right? but to reach that payout amount of yours, you need to post, post, post. i have really tried to be active around here at Mylot lately, and i have learned lots of new things by doing so and have some extra money for myself as well. so i hope that you can get motivated again around here at Mylot really soon.
take care and have a beautiful evening.

since i'm not in a hurry reaching the payout, i just post when i'm "in the mood" and that happens only 2-3 days a week(averge)so whether they delete my post or not, it'll not affect me at all because if i'm in the mood of mylotting.. i will respond and respond to discussions no matter what happen. i love mylotting a lot when i'm in the mood but too lazy to visit the site when i am not.

Well i know how you must be feeling.Do not take it seriously but try to be more innovative in your ideas and before posting a discussion always make yourself sure that similar discussion is not started by any other member.
As you are close to your minimum payout, you should try to cheer up yourself and cross the bench mark.Do not go over the edge but try to complete it.
Best of luck.

I think it is depressing when you see the numbers go down, of course we post in what we think will be a good discussion and to build up our numbers...but I find that I still want to post and make very good discussions that will grab peoples attention and get to talk to people...that is great way to get to know everyone and for me it is a break away from house chores and cartoon network...LOL
sorry you lost some posts...but cheer up today you make a bunch and they will all be good ones!!! good luck and happy mylotting.
