it's very difficult if your partner is far away from you...if the communication is less then this will end up to distruction.. well anyway, if the communication is always there...well, even how "long distance" it is..your relationship will gonna be still successfull...happy mylotting..

So what is the problem? I've been in a relationship that was long distance and it is such a hassle. I was married then too. Never again would I shed energy like that, but it depends on how much I like the guy.

You could well see that relationships for you won't work well when it's a long distance one. So, why do you still do it? Give yourself a breather and just stay uncommitted or without someone for a few months, then go out more. Find someone from your location, and save yourself the trouble of working out a relationship that you know you don't believe in (long distance). These things don't really work, only 1 in 10 could work out a relationship as tough as a long distance one. So try to look there. I'm thinking that you found your previous relationships online, so try to refrain from going online. Hook up with someone you can see everyday. Good luck!

Hello, I was in a long distance relationship one time. It did not work out due to the fact we were both in college and he wanted to experience life as a single male in college. I will be in another long distance relationship with in a month. My b/f is hoping to be transfered to where I will be moving. I told him about my bad experience with a long distance relationship before. He says no to worry but I don't know what to expect.

Maybe the relationship would have ended even if it was not a long distance one. When one is in a relation ,whether it is long distance or no , it needs a lot of compramises and nurturing. And it also takes two to make a relationship.End of any relation brings pain. But time is a great healer.Just live through the moment with the knowledge that what you feel today is not permanent. What has ended up was not meant for you.May be some one better some where is waiting for you.

A lot of people do not feel secure on a long distance relationship. Since it is long distance, you couldn't see your love one that often. You must consider this is really for you or not. You may not know what he or she was doing. All you can find out just from a phone call. That can't tell you anything at all.
