visiting an old friend in New Orleans

I just got back from a trip to New Orleans to visit a friend whom I had not seen in 30 years. I was so excited! We had a very good time catching up. We attended some Mardi Gras parades, visited the French Quarter, drove through Bourbon Street, and visited some cemeteries, along with just seeing the city. Have you ever got together with an old friend that you have not seen in many years? If you did, what kind of activities did you do? Do you have friends that you would like to reconnect with?

I guess you could say that I had gotten together with an old friend. This has been awhile ago when I was actually still friends with the people. I had gotten into a fight with a friend and had thus not seen them for awhile, well to be honest, this was really with two friends. Now, I am not friends with any of them because their true colors came out. I'm not saying I don't have dirty laundry, but lol, it's a long story!

If its been a very long time, you might be surprised as to how your attitudes change over the years. Maybe you should try to reconnect and mend fences. I'm sorry you had to experience that.
