My Better homes and Garden came in the mail this week, and then as I was cleaning out my email I saw a junk mail for magazine subscriptions.... do you read magazines, do you subscribe to one or some... or do you prefer to buy them at the checkout counters as the impulse item??

I don't subscribe to magazines at the moment. I used to subscribe to Writer's Digest and Poets and Writer's, but I need to spend my money on other things so I cut magazines out of my budget and am working on getting some other things paid off first.

I love getting magazines in the mail, and I also think that it is better to subscribe if you are just going to buy them every month anyway. I try to only do it when I can get them for free from a special promotion or something.

I wasn subscribed to Entertainment weekley for a long time. But I've been out of work for a while and I can't afford an extras - and that includes magazine subscriptions. Maybe when I find something, I'll resubscribe. And by then, I'll probably be able to get in as a new customer and save a lot.

I get several. I get Time, Cat Fancy, Weightwatchers, and a few others. I have gotten National Geographic before, and some craft magazines, like a cross stitching magazine with patterns in it or a crochet magazine. I like to read them and its cheaper and more convenient to order them, at least for me anyways. The only impulse magazine I buy is People if they have an article in them I want to read. The last one of those I got was when Heath Ledger passed away.

Yes I do subscribe to magazines but right now I only subscribe to one magazine and that's guitar world but I used to also be subscribed to guitar one into the two company's merged together to just form guitar world. Magazines are really great for just reading in your free time because in a book or a novel I want to be able to focus all attention on the story or information that's written within the text but magazines are very interesting as well.

i don't subscribe magazines. I just buy whatever issue I want to read. Most of my magazines are copies of the Entrepreneur magazine. I love that magazine for it encourages me to go into business.

Magazines were one of the first things I cut out when I lost my job. I can read them at the hairdressers or in the hotel where I work part-time so I thought buying them and then having them sit here on the table was a bit of a waste.

l ever subscribed to a few women's magazines once. But unfortunately, sometimes got stolen by someone who saw it. Before, l always checked my mail late in the evening because l worked in office until 5pm. l had to claim that particular magazine and it takes some time to replace me. Upset me a lot, so l cancelled it. Now, prefer to buy from bookstore.

My problem is I see so many that are interesting it gets to the point where I have too many subscriptions and the magazines don't get read or it takes me months to get to them. The ones I really like are body+soul, Real Simple, Inc and Entrpreneur. I get offers for free ones all the time and sometimes I get them to share with other people but they usually end up in a massive pile waiting for me to get to them or recycle them.
