does anyone know if these vaccinations are permanent, for life? or is it something you need to immunize against every now and then, such as tetanus? any ideas? doctors around here? :)

Tetanus it is not "a live vaccine",immunity tends to decline with time, so booster doses are needed. Hepatitis vaccination is good for an about 15 years or so.

thanx, pola!as i know, tetanus shots need to be re-done every 10 years or so (though most people only take action after getting injured). so you're saying hep vaccines only last an extra 5 years more?

It needs to be tested to see if new vaccination is needed. It all depends on risk factor. Medical personnel have testing done once every 5 years.
