The song the Greatest Love of all says that we should love ourself. After what I went through in my love life, everyone was telling me that I should love myself first.Hearing broken relationships mostly from celebrities, they say that they learned that they should first love themselves. I really honestly don't understand what they mean by loving yourself, that's why I'm really curious on how can you say that you love yourself and how will you love yourself?

i have been advised to do this many times before. and at first i was just like you asking what should i do. now i realized what that meant. it means never pressure ourselves to be perfect just to make other people happy - even if it would result to us being unhappy. loving oneself means letting yourself cry but dont overdo it. always think of yourself before anybody. that doesnt mean being selfish but asking yourself "will it make me happy too?". but really, its a case to case basis. so it really depends on the person.
