I was depressed for months and it made me eat lots of junkie foods. I became so fat that I started to hide from the public. I stayed home most of the time. I only went out to shop for groceries but I don't hang out to social places that I used to. Last month I saw this site that has helped thousands of people from all over the world. It is called SparkPeople dot com. What's so nice about this site is that you can track the calories that you have eaten in a day, the water that you drank during the day, the exercises that you did and how much calories did you burn from doing a certain exercise. Successful members of the site motivates you and encourages you when you are about to raise that white flag . I have lost 5 pounds since last month and 3 inches off my waist. I am still fat but I know I will reach my ideal body weight if I will stick with SparkPeople. Oh! And one thing that I really like about the site is that you can actually ask for a personal online coach. It is totally free! I will try to post my before and after pictures here when I reach my goal weight. If there's anyone here who is trying to lose weight and you feel that you need help just send me a PM and I will direct you to the site. You can't earn money there but the confidence, self-esteem, and self-esteem that they could give you are the things that are priceless. So, to those who are weight watchers, good luck!

Thank you for the info! i just checked out their site and it seems pretty interresting! I'm glad this is keeping you motivated!! Depression is one of the worse feelings in the world! I was really depressed a year ago and the opposite happened to me, I wouldn't eat much. Actually i didn't eat anything at all in 10 days.. not even drank water or anything and i was starting to look really bad cuz i'm a thin person and i lost a lot of weight but now i'm not depressed any more and i am very healthy!! Best of luck!! :]

Losing weight is also my problem. I tried to excercise to lose weight but still it seems nothing has changed. This holy week I tried to eat fruits and vegetables but it so difficult at first day not to crave for the food the you used to eat.I read an article about losing weight on eating banana but some says that it is not also good because it is not a balance diet. But for now I stick to fruits and vegetables for a week to cleanse the toxic to my body. It is also a part of making a sacrifice during HOLY WEEK.

Wow, the site is great. I just logged in. But since I'm already a member of a gym and they do that too, I guess the site will add support so that I'd be aware whether I'm inside or outside the gym. Thanks for the site! Good luck to us all!

Thanks for the appreciation and you are always welcome. Anyway, I am also going to the gym. I use the site to get support from the people there. There are also great articles that you could read regarding weight loss, tips on how to lose weight fast, safe, and effectively. Another cool thing about the site is that they have this "Spark Points." They give some rewards on their loyal members and come to think of it the site is totally free. Good luck to you too Laydee.

Hi there icequeen! When you are dieting, you don't need to count calories. Don't you know that if you eat less calories it could actually slow down your metabolism and in your old age you'll become really fat. When dieting you should limit your intake of carbs and fats, and only eat fats that are essential to our body like fats from fish with omega3 which eliminates the bad cholesterol in our body. When I was in high school I am also strict in counting calories but now that I am following the great tips from spark people which is "not being strict with counting calories" it made me lose weight much faster than before and I look much better and healthier. I lost weight without getting hungry. I have smoother skin compared when I was in high school. Technique there is you have to eat at least 5-6 times per day, but, of course, you should prepare your meals in small portions, and it is also important to eat slowly. Drink lots of water and have at least 30 mins of walk per day. But if you are trying to lose weight you should do more than walking. You should try aerobics. Just visit the site. You will see everything that I have mentioned here. Ciao! Thanks for responding! XOXO
