There have been lots of times when I've been watching dramas in films and on TV, where you have someone being attacked or being chased, and they are continously screaming. I know they use it to make the drama seem more exciting, but I think it is very unrealistic. The only times I have screamed, it has been because of a sudden shock. If I was being attacked, I would use my energy on fighting back, not screaming, unless I thought somebody nearby would hear me! If I was running away, I would save my breath for getting away. What would you do?

Hello katsalot! That's what I noticed too. Most of the attacking scenes are that the preys are always screaming eventhough the predator is still away. I would even say how stupid they are. But since it's on the script, I have nothing to do with it..hehehe

It does seem silly doesn't it. 'Oh dear, I am so frightened I'll just stand with my hands over my face and scream a lot'!
