I agree...life is a very short journey and we need to make the best of it while we are here. You see I never really realized this until 5 years ago when my dad passed away. Thank god we had plenty of time from when he was diagnosed with lukemia to when he actually passed that I was able to do alot of things with him and for him that I really wanted to do...no regreats there and I thought I learned then that things can change and you should enjoy every day. Then in the summer of 2007 my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer but by the time they found it she was already stage 4...so needless to say I didn't have much time with her to do things that we wanted to. That is when I really learned how truly fast things can change.
I think the most important thing I learned is that none of us really know how long our journey will be or who will be besided us in our jouney but whatever and where ever that journey leads we need to make the best of every day.
My plan is to not take things for granted for they could be gone in a blink of an eye. Tell the ones that you love how much you do love them every day and more important, show them how much you love them. Live every day to the fullest and no matter what happens have no regrets...its all part of our journey.

Everybody wants more out of life than they have. Just take a few moments out of each day and realize what you have. I know I have 4 children and I look at them everyday and I know my journey in life is them. I thank God every day for giving me my children and I know that somewhere someone has it worse and better than I do. Making it sweet is in the eye of the beholder of life. I just want my children to have a good mom with minimal mistakes and work on their lives. That is my goals and you have to make your own.
