HELP!!! Can Someone/Anyone Convince Me To Like Survey Sites?

I've read about so many people earning good money with survey sites and I would like to be one of those people, but I really dislike such sites because...
1. They always want to know so much information about you, I have an aversion to giving away so many details about myself online.
2. I always seem to receive a whole load of spam emails, that I can't unsuscribe to, after joining survey sites.
3. I feel inherently suspicious of such sites...they make such big promises but I just find it hard to believe them.
I know many of you my mylot buddies have signed up to survey sites and they are working for you, please, please, please, can one of you convince me that they are brilliant and worthy of my time and energy...if you can convince me, I might sign up under you as your referral. Thank you.

Why give them all your details... I don't. lol. Yes, you have to put up with the spam in the mail, but you don't have to trust them with all your personal details... change something, like your birthdate. They don't need to know that, I'm sure.
Once you get over the hurdle of not giving them all your personal details and leaving yourself wide open to pfishing scams, then you can sit back and enjoy the surveys.
Brightest Blessings.

Aha! Be creative with a few of the details...great idea. Well done darkwing, with that suggestion you have effectively eliminated one of the main obstacles to my liking surveys. Brightest Blessings to you too.

I myself would like to do survey sites as well, but I can't find any legit ones to sign up under for free. But to try and convince you, you could always create a new email just for spam mails and let the surveys contact you through that email address. And as for giving out personal information, I think you should be fairly honest, but fibbing some things here and there isn't going to hurt anyone. If you aren't comfortable giving a particular piece of information out about yourself, then either put down "Prefer not to say" (if the option is available), or make it up. If you make it up though, it would be wise to remember it and give that info out to every other survey you take, just to be consistent. Survey sites do make pretty big promises though, that's why I haven't found any to sign up under yet, can't find one that I trust.

Thank you for your excellent response. Yes I think if I sign up to any other suvey sites the first thing I should do is to get an email address just for the survey emails. I know I will definitely fib on a few details like my telephone number and my date of birth so thanks for reminding me that I must find a way to remember what I said....I'll create a document where I add such information. I hope we can both find one or two survey sites soon that we can trust. Thanks again.

Survey sites are good, but only a select few. I have a couple you might like that don't bombard you. Some survey sites do ask a lot of questions, others don't ask quite as many. However a lot of times they do need to ask to make sure that you meet their criteria. I hate most survey sites myself, but I have a few that I like. If people can tell me about really good ones that pay a decent amount, I'd be ecstatically happy. however, if you are intersted in the few I have, feel free to friend/pm me. That goes for anyone interested.

I hope my discussion will be of use to you too. Some survey sites can take so long to complete the surveys, this is something else I don't like. Let's hope this discussion will help us both to feel better about survey sites.

Hiya (: I think basically...Those people who are earning money from doing surveys, they have to pay for there membership of being a member, if you get what i mean? I mean I would als olove to be one of those people, but I'm just sticking to surveys which pay a low amount of money, but which will give more money in the future, because of your loyalty to them. Do not trust those survey websites that say you can make 3k in a day or something drastic like that, because it is obviously not true. Erm, referring back to your question, I think that survey panel is a good website. In terms of scamming, I think the worst that they can do is send junk to your e-mail, or what not. They can't access your bank details, as you wouldn't have given them in the first place, IF it was a free survey website. Anyway e-mail me if you need anymore help with survey sties. (:

There are many good sites that do pay. I am currently doing a two-week one where they've already sent me a $10.00 debit card and after the two week period I get a check for $50.00. There are many times where I get discouraged as I answer a million questions and then they tell me I don't qualify, but when one of these big ones come along, I'm glad I keep up with it. PM me and I'll send you a link to a couple. Have a great one!

I have signed up for a few survey sites myself. The best one for me based on my experience is Opinion Outpost. They do pay by check. I have been paid by them several times since joining them six months or so ago. Their surveys are easy to complete in my opinion. The key to successfully completing their surveys is to respond to their e-mail invitations as fast as possible, that will help you in qualifying for their surveys. When you reach 50 points ($5.00) or more you make cash out. Try it out if you want and is free to join. I hope you and everyone else in myLot will have even a bigger success than me. Here is the link with my referral. https://www.opinionoutpost.com/join.php?aid=af11539-12492

I have another good site for you that does pay by paypal and it also accepts members from the UK. They require you to have a verified paypal account. You get paid by taking surveys, taking offers, visit websites, playing games and other things. I have been paid many times by them. They do pay within 48 hours based on my experience with them. PM me and I will send you the link if interested. I wish you the best to you and to everyone here on myLot.
