I started to use ubuntu from last october and i soon find it a cool operating system. I had known something about linux before that, so i don't have much difficulty in it. Even so, I find it hard to solve some problems, after all, I don't major in computer science. I have been wondering what can ubuntu do to have a larger number of user. What do you think?

hello nancro. i guess it's likely that you've never installed a ubuntu, because as far as i know, ubuntu, as well as many other linux distributions, has improved a lot in the support of hardware devices. take my own system for example, i did not need to search any extra driver, the OS had done everything for me!
As for compiz, it does not require an expensive graphics card, compare to what the windows vista needs... :)

^_^ Howdy coloos!....
I'm using Linux Ubuntu for over a year now. Without installed XP Windows installed. Linux Ubuntu is mainly use for online work. My PC is specs are only Intel Pentium 4, upgrade 1 gig of RAM, wireless network and NVidia Graphic cards. Compiz Fusion installed working good. Fast, stable and highly secured. Perfectly work fine for online productivity.
^_^ Thanks and Enjoy!.... myLot!....
