What did you wanted to be?

hmm weee..I had many ambitions when I was young.... I wanted to be a doctor..a lawyer and a teacher...and guess what here I am taking my nursing degree..:)

I wanted to be a lot of things when I was a kid. However, I remember that there were two options that stuck with me for quite some time: to become a lawyer or to become a mayor :D I'm also far from achieving those childhood goals, but it's not something that I regret. I actually don't think I would have been happy as a lawyer or a politician :P Working with computers suits me better. Thank you for your response on my discussion!

Hi Donsky, I always wanted to be an oceanographer. I wanted to have my own ship and explore the depths of all the oceans just like Jacques Cousteau was many years ago. I grew up watching his show and his explorations and was just amazed by what he did and what he saw. I am still amazed by the ocean and the living creatures in them. I miss living by the ocean and have not been for 14 years now. Needless to say, I am not an oceanographer but I still love the ocean and visit every chance I get. It is a shame that I could not have afforded the college tuition at the time. There are more opportunities for students now than when I was a student.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a nurse just like my mom, when I was in high school I wanted to be an interior designer or anything inclined with arts...Now, I just turned into a dentist...at least it's still in the medical field and then have an artistic side at the same time by creating a smile.(^_^)

When I was still little kid I always wanted to be my mother's assistance and would not leave her any moment. As time passed by and I entered my high school the world unfolded like an umbrella and questions of selecting or setting goal fr life arrived. I had a sort of fascination for teaching and thus decided that I would be a teacher - either a college teacher or a university teacher. And fortunately (for me) today I am what I wanted to be.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a lot of things.. To be a royalty, a princess, was one of them.. hahahah..Of course, it didn't happen, although I'll always be my dad's little princess.. Anyway, I also wanted to be a business woman, but I found out that Math's darn hard so I changed my mind and wanted to be a teacher instead. Later on, I found out that a teacher only gets a meager salary, and of course, I want to earn a lot ^_^.. Well, at least now I get to be a teacher and an entrepreneur at the same time. ;)

I always wanted to be a teacher and even though I didn't pick that as my career choice, I am doing it. I home school my children and so I teach everyday. Plus,as a mother,I find that I am always teaching the children something even though we aren't always doing school. I am glad that I didn't make it my career though as public schools are so out of control.

When I was a kid, I really like to be a teacher...I don't even know why. I just want to feel how to be a teacher, its like I'm enjoying it when I was KID. I even have my class record putting random names, have my chalk & colored chalk, I used our backdoor as blackboard LOL... As time goes by, I realized I don't want to be a teacher. All I want now is to be a professional web and graphic designer, which is I am right now. I'm not saying I'm professional already, but I do have experiences with those fields.

I always wanted to be a doctor since I started going to school until now that I already have a family of my own. I always wanted to be of great help to those people suffering from sickness. It is my ultimate dream.

I remember answering that question when I started to watch TV. There was a local channel before in the 80s where every saturdays, a show about japanese stuff like how to make a robot or a levitating train. Followed by another show that featured animals (maybe a younger version of national geographic channel). Anyway, I knew that I wanted to become a scientist. You know to invent, study animals, create my own robots and stuff. I think I fulfilled part of that dream. Took up BS Biology in college so I became a scientist. Also studied animals. LOL. But I deviated a bit, instead of knowing how to build robots, I learned how the human body works. I became a doctor and I am doing that now. of course, there are other stuff i want to do... Cheers!!!

Before when I was a kid I always say I wanted to be a Flight Stewardess or A nurse someday but now I'm taking up Business Administration...

Hello there sis. Like you I always wanted to be a doctor. I think it is common. =)) Anyways, I am a nursing student now, still in a medicine field. I am planning to have a masteral in nursing when I graduate. I never knew that I would enter this field. I really wanted to be a photographer, model, and singer when I was in highschool. My parents suggested this course to me and I have nothing to do about it. I am starting to love my course anyway.

Funny I wanted to be baseball player in high school. So I went to college to be disc jockey, when that fell apart I went back to school to be newspaper reporter. While I was at college nights my full time job during the day turned into my career. Three jobs later and multiple upgrades in pay and levels, making more money and success then ever. No matter what I wished to be eventually the best thing wound up right in my lap. Makes you think that maybe right place right time is more important then any dream. It is probably best when they go hand in hand. Sure wish I was the centerfielder at Fenway Park though.

i always wanted to be in the army, my brother and alot of my friends are and im really proud of them for it, they have all served in iraq and afghanstan over the last few years, i just wish i could have helped but im at university at the minute, hopefully ill be shipping off ot become an officer after i finish and realise my childhood ambition

When I was younger I wanted to be some many things. I guess when I was real young my parents told me I wanted to be a polit. I am not sure I would do that now. I also wanted to be a photographer, I guess I could still do that. Right now I work online and I really do enjoy it, I hope that I can really make my own business someday from being online and then I will never have to work for someone again. I absolutely adore animals and wanted to be a Vet. As I grew older I got to thinking about it and I decided I couldn't put an animal to sleep so I changed my major and now I have no idea what i want to do. I'm going through college aimlessly and I will see what is available when I graduate next year. I wish I had stuck with my dream because I now realize that putting animals to sleep isn't an every day thing and most of them are in pain anyway.

i wanted to be a cricket player..and during my childhooh i was facinated towards earth science.....but now am on the verge to become a software professional...its really difficult to follow our dreamz unless we are stubborn...all the best people...be strong by ur future
