another need help issue..

hey guys, im having a microsoft compact optical mouse,and these days when i keep using it all of a sudden the cursor doesnt move, so I have to unplug from usb port and again plug in and it works fine.This keeps happening very often. And the usb ports in the front of my CPU doesnt work so its kinda difficult. Any suggestions?Or any idea what is going on?

I stopped using my wireless mouse because I kept having that same problem. Check the instruction on how to syncronize the mouse to the transmitter. You usually have to press a button on the mouse and on the transmitter in a certain sequence. The other problem I found is that as soon as the mouse batteries began to weaken the operation of the mouse becomes erratic. Batteries did not seem to last very long either.
