migraine with aura and other headaches with aura

so i was never a migraine-sufferer who had 'aura', or sensorial symptoms prior to the onset of migraine. until about 10 years ago. though the aura were so infrequent i didn't realize that's what they were until this year. normally i wasn't getting an ACTUAL migraine after having the sensorial 'disturbance' (mine are only visual), so it was hard to associate the two. i also have retinal and eye problems, so i ws thinking these 'symptoms' were eye-related and not headache-related.
yesterday i got my first aura-with-migraine, hooray, cheer, cheer! (sarcasm)
however, i would say the migraine was more of a 'headache'. i've been researching on the net to see if it's common to have other types of head pains besides official migraine, with aura, but so far the only thing i've come up with is in very rare cases, cluster headaches with aura.
what about headache=headaches with aura? :)

Aura with migraine is not a good thing for sure. I used to have "dancing light" with migraine. Every person has different sensation under general term "aura".
I am lucky to stay away from migraine for at least 5 months. This is due my complete diet restriction. I don't have any sugar now and I watch what I buy, means all food needs to be MSG free. HFCS free, preservatives free and without or less salt.
In general I eat fresh, not processed food.

wow, a lot of food restrictions!
did you find there was really a link between eating these substances and then having a migraine?
my migraines are ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! it means, i can get them in the middle of the night, after eating, before eating, while eating any sort of food...
i am not very sensitive to things like msg, caffeine or sugar/salt. but i tend to eat as little processed food as i can anyways.
my migraines can come every few days or sometimes disappear for several months or even (when i'm lucky) years!! but i always have cluster and regular headaches, apart from those migraines.
that's why i'm trying to find out if there are recorded cases of headaches with aura instead of specifically migraine-with-aura.

Migraine headache can happen up to 48 hours after eating. Having consistent diet may help.
