I Just Seen Friday The 13th..........

Yes, I took my son to see a movie that his father grew up on and I must say that this movie was the biggest let down ever. My son has seen all the originals also and even he realized this was NOT a friday the 13th movie. The score to the movie was not good, the kills were okay at best and since when did Jason become Rambo with a hockey mask. I honestly give this movie a 2 1/2 out of 5. It lacked to much and should have been called "killer by the lake who looks like Jason from friday the 13th"

Glad you posted this as I half thought of going to see this. Friday the 13th was my favorite of the slashers back in the day. I never jumped out of my seat in a movie theatre they way I did when Jason came out of the lake in the first movie. it was one of the greatest moments in film I have ever seen based on getting a reaction to something I am watching. It is funny how all of these remakes or old movies and TV shows just fall flat. My friends and I are wondering if there is no decent scripts in Hollywood anymore or if the machine that is the movie business is just going with something that worked before should work again.

you know I think the same way, but there are good movies out there. checkout midnight meat train, end of the line, the devils chair, hatchet and seed. they are out there, like a sick scary gorefest. These movies blow remakes out of the water it just the studios want smoething that already has a following.

Hi, and welcome to myLot, Musher3030. I am very sorry that your this movie was not up to your expectations. I wanted to go and see this movie for myself, and now I am just about glad that I didn't.. I would rather see it at home. Wow, so Jason was really a Rambo.. I am so used to him using machetes, and knives, swords and anything very sharp like.. It is very scary. Well, I was wondering about this movie. And now I know. I still would like to see it. I am glad that you told us more about this movie..
