Please read and help me!
I'm an idiot..i have terrible memorization skills and rely on a peice of paper with all my passwords and user information to get on my email. but i have lost my paper with all the email! i did some cleaning last night and i believe it rests in the shredder. i am on the verge of a heartattack! i use this email for business where i daily communicate with bosses and clients and other important communication. i am DESPERATE for someone to help me! ALL of my email addresses are kept in the address book on my yahoo email. i do not have them written elsewhere..my job and clients are in jeopardy!
Here's the worse part..i know i can click 'forgot password' and it'll take me to a page asking me what country im from, my birthday and such. but none of that is really my location and birthday! i am very paranoid of someone being able to hack my account because they know my birthday and where i'm from or any info at all. i made up the birthday and picked another country and zip code. all that info was on that paper with my password.
I don't know what else to do. please if you know anything i can do to get access to my account again, let me know. i'd just make a new one, if i didn't have my entire address book on that account and having businesses and my clients on there. I NEED to be able to get on my account again. I beg of someone to know how I can get on. Please help!
In the future I will record all my email addresses and keep in a folder along with passwords.
Thank you so much for any help you can give me! I deeply appreciate it!
And I miraculously remember my user name. I just can't remember my password.

The next time you'll gonna make new accounts in Yahoo or from somewhere else. Be sure that your password will have combination of numbers and alphabets or punctuation that can easily remember by you. Because there are hackers who have been login your accounts because of the password, passwords that can easily be hacked...
You should your password just like this:
uei3q1_045mx
adding punctuations or symbols makes your password strength "STRONG".

I agree except they usually do not allow special characters. To remember make up a password called a mnemonic device, you use the first letter of a phrase.
for example
my dog Rover has 99 fleas gives mdRh99f
my wife Helen has 3 children, Curly Larry and Moe give mwHh3cCLM
of course make up your own.

Well, it's going to be pretty tough to get your password without providing the personal information you provided in the first place. If you have another email address that you can use, I would suggest sending an email to Yahoo and seeing just what they can do about it. I looked on the contact page, there does not seem to be any phone number or anything. Sorry I can't be of more help, it must be very nerve wracking to not be able to access your email.

If you have forgotten the password and do not remember your country birthday adn zip code, then i think it is best you build up a new email account and just forget the old one. There is no option. you could still try to convince the yahoo administrator that it is really your account. This time be a little more careful. never write down your password. make is simple to remember yet difficult for someone who does not know.

Oh take it easy,my poor man,It will gonna be ok.
My advice is you should contact Yahoo Email department, let their people know what has happened and how important to you.I believe if you can behave pure-hearted enough, someone of Yahoo will
really help you.
You'll get it!and remembering backing up several more backups of your email book next time!

sometimes you cannot just get your account back,if you have provided all the informations they request,i will just advice you try to open another account that is similar to the old account and forward your new address to all your clients if you have backup of their email addresses.

I don't think so that yahoo will give you back your password if the birth date, country and that secret question has not been met.
I'm sorry my friend, but this thing i tried to my brother's account, i knew his birthday, i knew country and all, but i was not given the password since i did not correctly answered the secret question.
A lot of people would be able to snoop other people's email, if they will just be easy to figure out. I think it will be easy for you to create another account rather than to try opening your account. Sorry i did not help you.
