the best movie about romeo n juliet

Can u tell me the best movie of romeo and juliet? i choose the classic one movie because this movie had everlasting love,actor and actress that play ad this movie got married and live happily until old.

Even though it doesn't have a "happily ever after ending", I love the 1968 movie of Romeo and Juliet with Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey. I think it is really great interpretation of the play and is a timeless movie. It won 2 Oscars in 1969 - one for best Cinematography, one for Best Costume Design and was nomination for 2 more - one for best director and one for best picture. It also won 3 Golden Globe awards in 1969. It is one of the most brilliant films ever and definitely worth seeing.

Old version of movie is real good..i never watched the new one

I absolutely love the old version of the movie. I find the movie with Leonardo de Caprio and Clair Danes is a bit silly. I didn't like how it was modern but still used the same dialogue as the actual play.
