Do you like pierced ears?

Hi Jazz I didnt have my ears pierced until I was in my 30s! My daughter wanted hers done and my Mother decided that she would give it to for her birthday - how could I argue when I knew nothing about having it done! Anyway I had always wanted mine pierced but lets be honest too scared. So after my daughter had hers done and loved it I decided I could do it too. I went to a hairdressers who was brilliant - well she had done my daughters okay - I had one ear done, then she droped the other earing. Oh was I tempted to run but could not because she locked the door! So I had both done in the end! The out come is I still have mine today but my daughter let hers grow over and never bothered again. My other daughter though has 3 in each ear and my son well I cant say on here where he has one done!

If somebody has their ear pierced in a store, it is very dangerous. A while back I was in Walmart and saw a baby girl getting her ears pierced. She was really crying and I felt sad for her. Will the little girl get HIV from this procedure? It is a possibility. If one percent of the people here in the United States have HIV, they can pass on the disease by having their ears pierced. Do you think that the instuments used to pierce ears are usually put in an autoclave to destroy HIV? I do not like to see pierced ears myself. I do not have any piercings anywhere.
