I just started - today. I signed up last night and was sent the official welcoming email today. I've tried it before without much success, but there were always issues ongoing in my life that made it difficult to actually put any time or effort into it. But, I think now my life is on a more even keel and I might actually be able to accomplish something with it. So, do you sell Avon? Do you do well at it? What do you do that works for you? How about being an eRep? Is that working for you? If anyone is interested in ordering online or looking into selling, PM me please and I'll give you the web address to my Avon store. Otherwise, the main purpose of this discussion is to see who else sells Avon, find out how you're doing and what it is that works for you. Oh - and, just for curiosity's sake, where are you located (geographic region, urban, suburban, rural, etc). I am curious to see how others make this work for them.

I'm no salesperson so won't even think of trying to sell something like Avon. I would never succeed. I seldom buy perfume, which is the only thing I buy from Avon.

I've never succeeded previously on any sales program, party or otherwise, either. I'm not pushy, although you don't have to be pushy. I have a very quiet, unassuming friend who is in President's Club (over $10,100 sales) and she's very happy with what she makes - it does supplement other income she has, but she enjoys it. I now have fewer responsibilities than I did and I've always liked Avon, so I thought I'd give it a shot, hoping that this time I could do a little more than break even. We shall see.

I started selling two campaigns ago. I'm doing all right, I suppose. I just haven't had enough time to get out there every day and try to sell. All the orders I've received so far are from family members and friends, but I think that's fairly typical for first-timers. I'm from the western side of Michigan.

I've had a couple of setbacks lately of a personal nature, but I was actually doing quite well for a while. I hope to get back into the game once I put these issues behind me. I have some steady customers who are friends, but most of my customers have been people I never met before selling Avon. I was amazed.

i sold it for 5 years and i had a lot of problems with it because every time i placed a order most of it they didnt have and i had to wait for weeks and then the costomer didnt want it any more and then i would order like 4 -6 items of the same thing and i would not get it all so i had to call them and let them know, or they would send me the wrong things so it was a pain in my butt.
