I just think how great it would be if I could hold my whole library in my hand and get books instantly so that I would never be without a book. However, they are too expensive for me to get one right now, otherwise I would have bought a Kindle or Sony's version. But I do love books, and I probably would never let a gadget like that replace my books completely.

I didn't know Sony had a version of this, I'll have to look into that. It might even be better or something.
I just like the idea of being able to download books whereever I am. Sometimes I am reading audiobooks while I'm at different places waiting, and then the book will end and I have nothing to do. It doesn't happen a whole lot, but if there was a way to download audiobooks I would really love that. I might be able to read on Kindle though due to the enlarged print and especially if the contrast could be adjusted.

I keep wanting to get the Kindle but it is just so expensive!
I can't read paperback books due to my reading disability. However, with the Kindle I think the large print might help. I've also heard you can download audiobooks onto it which would be great.
I would buy it today if it had text to speech recognition because I really enjoy reading that way now that I have learned how, since it is much faster. But I don't think Kindle will add that feature because it would make it far too expensive.

havent tried it yet. And most likely it wont replace books immediately. But as hand held phones and gadgets become more and more prominent, I can see this digital medium replacing the book all together. In time though.
