okay, it's fairly common knowledge that most of the clothes you can buy on the high street are actually made by the very same suppliers.
these suppliers supply both cheap shops and more expensive shops with products of the same quality.
the difference is that some shops mark up the price more than others.
so.
let us imagine we are in one of the supplier factories. they are making a plain, black, very nice shirt.
when they are done making this shirt, it could have one of three different tags sown into it, depending where it is being sold.
will you buy the shirt from....
A. the shop that sells it cheapest
B. the designer shop, which is considered the most fashionable.
C. the shop that puts the "smallest" size on the label (high street shops try to make their version of a size actually have the largest dimensions, so people who are 12 in other shops are a size 10 with them, even if the garment is exactly the same dimensions
so. which shop would you buy that identical quality shirt from?

I look at some of those "designer bags" and they are just stupid looking, or junky or something other than chic and stylish that they are supposedly suppose to be! They seem to have chains and large buckles and large metal loops on them and I just can't see carrying around all that extra weight!
Affordable? Yea, that is where I am. Doesn't really matter who makes it or what style..as long as I like the style of the purse, and it is in my budget...I buy.
EgoSized... don't know what that is, but doesn't really matter.. I only buy what I can afford and works for me.

ego sizing or vanity sizing happens all the time.
basically, the same sized garment would have a smaller number put in it.
because some people would rather buy a garment that has a "smaller" size, than something exactly the same size with a bigger number on the label.
sizing is no longer standard, because of this practice. this is why you can be one size in some places and another in another.

I so *want* my answer to be that I'd buy it cheapest but I might, just MIGHT be swayed by the ego sizing. It'd be nice to see a smaller number for once as I do find it disheartening sometimes to look at the size label.
Ultimately though, I think I would buy it at the cheapest store, because I don't really have the luxury of spending extra right now, due to being a student!

If my pocket is full of $$$ at my shopping season, i will go to the expensive shop located in high street since i can afford to spend lavishly even though knowing the shirts are same quality but the customer service and environment are different.
