Did you ever do a belly cast when pregnant? How far along were you? How did it come out?? Did you paint or otherwise decorate it? After the baby(ies) birth, did you display it in their room? If not, what did you do with it?

It's very neat!! You can do an online search...but it's a fantastic keepsake!!!

Oh man what a great idea. That is such a good idea. Just hope the kid doesn't kick while they are making the cast, it could ruin the entire project!

Oh no, that's the beauty of it!! That wouldn't ruin it!! It is fast drying, and the baby really does not kick hard enough to ruin the whole thing!! And, trust me, I had some kickers!!! LOL

I don't have children yet but thanks for giving me such a great idea for when I do, I think that'd be so cute and a keepsake :)

You're welcome!! Glad to help! It really is something very neat! I am amazed looking at them today. You definately know how pregnant you are WHILE pregnant, but time does fade that memory just a tad bit. LOL It is a one of a kind (to me) keepsake!! :) (I did decorate them as well!)

I never did the belly cast. It sounds like loads of fun tho. I do have prego pictures tho. Unfortunately I cant get pregnant any more so I cant try the belly cast.

I am pregnant now and I don't plan to have a belly cast done. I'm happy just taking photos of the progress along the way. Did you have it done?

I LOVE taking progress pictures along the way as well!! As far as the belly cast, yes I did have it done. That one (in the picture above) was one I did while pregnant with my second little munchkin! They are amazing. But, as you point out, probably not for everyone!

I never did a belly cast. Did you do this yourself or did you go someone to have it done? What do you think you'll do with it? I really like it and think it's something your child will treasure in the future.

My husband and I did this! It was SO neat! He actually got into it!! (both times! LOL) I actually have them both (did one for both of my kids) in their closets. I haven't figured out how to safely display them. Not something you want broken!! LOL
