well, I've lived in Texas most of my life, but I have to say that Oregon is BEAUTIFUL.
I also like New Jersey, but that is the second state I'm most familure with, since that's the state I was born in and have visited the most often and spent the second most time in.

I am torn between two states that are just beautiful, Florida and California. Have been to both and visited several cities and beaches. I grew up in Missouri and am still here but that's a choice. My husband has a business here so we can't leave. Two of our kids are here as well. Our youngest lives in New Mexico and we hope to visit them soon since we've never been in the state. I hear it's beautiful. Maui is just gorgeous but a long flight which turns me off.

Yes they both are beautiful. I would just rather take the hurricanes over the earthquakes.

I live in Colorado and it is my favorite state. We have sunshine almost everyday of the year, 4 distinct seasons, and the Rocky Mountains. I live in the Denver metro area but the whole state is beautiful, especially the mountains. I have not been to each state but for me right now it is Colorado.

Hawaii would be nice to visit. I dont think I would want to take the long plane ride though. California scares me because of the earthquakes.

I would have to say my home State of Georgia. We do have the threat of hurricanes on the coast but our very mild winter temperatures more than compensate for that. We have mountains, beaches and the beautiful historic city of Savannah.

I guess I have to say Florida. I love Florida weather the beaches. I use to live in Florida when I was a young girl. I moved here when my mother passed and I have been here (Alabama) every since. The only thing I don't like about Florida is when it is hurricane season.

hello moneymommy
i have visited some beautiful States before and i guess that my favorite State that i have visited in my lifetime so far would have to be the great State of Nevada. it is beautiful there, and there is loads of different things to do and see in Nevada as well. Las Vegas, Reno. lol but i did enjoy also going to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina several years ago. it is also nice there and their beaches are beautiful. it sure would be difficult to pick a favorite State because that there are so many of them to choose from and there are lots of States that i haven't seen and probably will not see before i pass away.
take care and have a beautiful evening.

My favorite state is Wisconsin! I was born and raise there! I have lived here all my life! It is the dairy state! It is home to the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers! It has more the cows and sports teams! Beautiful lakes, great fishing and hunting. The Wisconsin Dells and all its water parks and much much more!

I am canadian but have been to many of the states..Florida was very nice but to be honest, I was amazed at the crime I heard every morning on the radio and even going on in our hotel, a Holiday INN. The white mountain region in New Hampshire is also very beautiful. On the other hand, I loved the Smokey mountains in Tennessee. OH but there are beautiful beaches in the Carolinas.
In Kentucky, I met the nicest people...hmmm...I could go on but I think each and every state is unique with different qualities to love. Sorry, but I guess I cant really pick a favourite!

"LIVE FREE OR DIE"New Hampshire, one of the last islands of libertarian conservatism in the nation. Most of the state is pretty rural, though the bottom end is actually quite urban. I live way up north,m about 60 miles from the Quebec border. No cities up here, very little crime, clean air and water, beautiful scenery, friendly people, old fashioned main street towns, whats not to love

My favorite state is Florida, where I've been living for a little over four years now. Not only does Florida have beautiful beaches and oceans, it has beautiful people who are friendly and kind. It's peaceful here and you definitely can't beat the winters!

I really like Texas, but I think Connecticut is my favorite state overall. I grew up there, so it's hard not to have fond memories and thoughts about it! It may be small, but it's mighty, and I'm proud to say that's where I'm from :)
I haven't visited all 50 states yet, so my opinion could potentially change, I suppose. I have a goal to see the whole country, but I don't yet have a plan for it. I'm hoping to kick-start some of it while on a road trip this spring, though!

For me that would be Montana. I was born and raised there and just love the mountains and beautiful sky. You just can't get closer to nature, in my humble opinion.

Well my favorite state is the one I live in which is Texas. I have been fortunate enough to travel and I have to say that next to Texas, Tennesse and North Carolina are my favorites. My family just recently when to Tennesse this past august. I love how, well at least in the town we stayed in, every body has a little garden at there home and all the homes are spaced out with lots of farm land between them. I love the country so this scene was perfect for me. In North Carolina we visited the Blue Ridge Mountains along Lake Lure North Carolina. That is some beautiful country. I hope to one day visit the Pacific- Northwest, because I here it is beautiful up there too.
Oh,I also like Flordia. In alot of ways it reminds me of Texas.
