First they said that the woman that had the octuplets lived with her parents, then they said with just her mom.And her mom said that she already has 6 kids in their 3 bedroom home and that she cannot bring 8 more babies home. Now they are saying that she had her 6 kids are living in a house that her mother purchased for them, but has no0t made the mortgage payments in 10 months and that it is in pre foreclosure. When the babies were first born, they said that her husband was at the birth and they were being private. Then she is divorced and doing an interview on tv.So much for privacy. Then she was on welfare, then she wasn't,then she was only getting food stamps for her handicapped kids. What's next? What's the truth?

Who really knows the real truth. To be honest I can't keep up with it and just have given up on hearing about this story. I am sure that CFS or whoever else will be investigating this woman and finding out what the real truth is. At this point I just couldn't care anymore.

I am not sure if anyone really knows the truth. But,just because she has 14 kids does not mean that she will get investigated. So,far that we know of she has done nothing illegal.

If she has been collecting money from welfare, social services, disability etc they will investigate this woman due to having 8 more kids. Doesn't it seem funny that you already have 6 kids and you have another 8 meanwhile you are getting paid from the government and you use that money to get invitro to have the 8 kids now. There are so many different angles to this story and I doubt that any of us will know the truth for awhile.

Well we don't really know where she got that money.Personally yes I couldn't handle even having the first 6 kids anyway, but I have ancestors and I know people that have more kids than I have (I have 3)and many have had family and friends help them.Matter of fact there was a story on some news yesterday about how there are lots of families(parents/grandparents,grown children/parents,children and grandchildren) living together know because of the economy. So I think Nadya really chose a bad time (if at all) to do this. But it does not mater if she did or not,or if she is crazy, like her dad said God gave the babies to her and if she needs help to care for them then she needs help. Now there are plenty of people that have written books and had movie rights. So,what is the big deal about whether she does or not? There are plenty of mothers and non mothers that write books and can spend more daytime hours with their kids,so why shouldn't she?

I don't understand why a normal thinking person would purposely get impregnated with a LITTER of babies! There are so many children that need families, need to be adopted, even 3 and 4 siblings that need to go to one home so they can be together. Why in the world would anyone risk their health and risk having disabled children in huge numbers, all at once? It is beyond me.

Like I said according to the stories that I have heard the doctors told her that only one or two of those eggs would fertilize.

She was also told that if she did not have them all implanted then that they would be destroyed. And you know how there are groups protesting. That would be considered an abortion as well.

Sound real dang shaky to me and seems to me when she could have put money into them treatments, she should have used it to keep a roof over her and her already growing kids over the roof. What I was told is the grandfather already moved back to Iraq to earn more money to take care of Nadya and her growing brood. Whatever else is going on, I won't even touch it.

According to the news is that her parents bought the house for her and the grandkids. It was a gift which makes them respondsible for keeping up the mortgage payments. They said that the mother/grandmother had not made the payments in 10 months. But there are millions of people that of lost their homes because of the economy. But,it seems that people are saying that she is irrerespondible instead of a victim of the low economy like everyone else.

It is beyond belief. So many versions of the story. I am outraged that this woman is getting government assistance, have not worked for years and who can afford so many children. She is sick. The doctor who took part in this should have his / her license revoked. I love big families too, but such as cousins, uncles, aunts. What will happen since she is unemployed (at least they reported at one time) how will she pay the delivery bill for the babies stay at Kaiser? I assume Kaiser doctors wants to get paid, so who will pay that. I am already outraged, I be even more outraged if the Kaiser bills will be paid by the government too. Our government needs to concentrate on sending their funds somewhere it is needed.

There is a lot of versions to the story. She had not worked for a while because she was hurt on the job,not because she was being irresponsible or lazy. I agree that the government needs to send it's funds somewhere where it is needed......how about here!So there is nothing wrong with this lady writing a book or getting movie rights or having family, friends and church help her kids. These are not just her kids, but Gods kids and He sent them here for a reason."Everything Happens for a Reason"

hahah this case is really weird. People are making different versions on this issue. I don't like to listen to any other additional or any other versions because it will make me confused and might believe the wrong one. The truth will set this woman stress free at the end. We will leave her alone.

Yes,leave her alone and let her work it out, instead of everybody telling her what she can and cannot do.

I have to agree with you. I am so sick of all the publicity that this women is getting. Honestly get the story straight or just stop talking about it. I think that this whole situation is just stupid. What is a women with 6 children, on welfare mind you, doing having artifical insemination? How was she able to afford this procedure if she can't even afford the kids she had? I think that there is something seriously fishy here and I think that the athourities need to be brought in on this one so that everyone can finally know the truth of the situation.

Maybe she did not have any business having those kids, but it is not for us to judge. They don't have the story straight, but at the same time why should it be investigated for us to hear the right story.Actually what usiness is it of ours. All,I know is that there are 14 children that did not even ask to be born, but they are here because God wants them to be.Therefore the have to be fed and cared for otherwise. That's the truth.
