I agree with Maezee, I'd want a little more detail before I could really help... but it does sound like fun. :-)
If your dress is made with WW acrylic yarn, I'd probably price it a little less than a dress made from WW silk yarn. Also, a dress made in thread would still be significantly more even yet because of the time put into it. But that's just my humble opinion.
I remember a few years ago there was a website that had thread crochet wearables. Some of the items were priced at more than $600 and selling! I don't know anyone who actually purchased anything from that site... well, because most of the people that I talked to loved to 'ooh and ahh' but we all knew that we could make something like that ourselves if we really wanted to. :-)
You need to take into consideration how much time you put into this dress as well as your supplies cost.
Please share the details! :-)
Take care,
Pinka

You could go on Ebay and use "crocheted purple house gown/dress" as the search terms and see what they're going for on there, if you'd like.
I personally would have to see it and see the style of it before telling you a price. I rarely wear dresses, so I'm probably not being totally helpful. You should try to post a picture, if you can - it would help people get a better idea of what they're "pricing". (And if you don't have enough posts to do that..You could post the link to your photobucket/image shack account). This would help!
To try to answer the original question, though, probably anywhere between $40-$70 (USD).
