Yes, Avira is one of the best. My uncle is using it on his desktop computer for a very long time. And I am using this Anti virus too to my laptop. This anti virus can detect any unwanted files and virus that can affect your computers. So I want to encourage those people to switch If they are not satisfied with their own installed anti virus. Best luck and keep up the good work kevin.

hiii kevinpatrick..nice to meet you..I have used Avira Antivir premium once in mycomputer....I am telling that this is a good antivirus we can use this..And there is no problem with this..But the only thing this use this antivirus if your computer will have more than 1gb ram...Because this antivirus will slow down the computer...Our computer performance will be slowed and we will get irritation...And i will omit the virus...Our computer will be secure by using this...gud posting...happy mylotting..

eh, my opinion is, if it costs money and there are equally effective free solutions out there, then don't pay for the premium. there are tons of antivirus/security programs out there that are just as effective against the ilk of the net. AVG, AdAware, Spybot S&D, spywareblaster, comodo, all are good pieces of software.
but i guess if you only want one piece of software, a package is the way to go. I'm just stingy i guess.
