No this is not hell or an overwellian dystopia, but a nightmare that may become our reality in the near future, with dark days of environmental chaos that loom ahead. But let's be optimistic, Despite the discouraging melees od SEZs burgeoning industrial groth and economic recesion, there is ray of hope. That hope lies with us. Through a combination of factors, suchas television and other media people have become increasingly cocerned with environmental issuses. The US leads the global energy consumption stakes, using 3,816,000,000 Mwh per year, and India follows at no. seven with 488,500,000 Mwh per year. The people are aware of this fact. We use electrical gadegts like the computer with great zeal, but are responsible to try to make up for th energy comsumed by them, by using energy efficient tube lights, bathing with cold water, and turning off that air conditioner. the little measures that can be adopted in order to make a difference to the environment are known by all and sundry, but they are rarly implemented. Now, efforts by you don't end with the smaller, commonplace things. These initiatives led by evryone have emerged recently and are slowly but surly making their presence felt.
