I like phones with keypads better than the touch screen ones, even if the latter seems to be more high-tech, i find it more inconvenient to have to use two hands just to send an SMS message which is possible with an ordinary keypad phone. I think touch screens are more fragile too and I am not very careful with my stuffs as compared to my husband so I think I would easily damage a touch screen phone and it might be filled with scratches in just a matter of months hehe

Well, touch cellphones are definitely "in" now, but even I own one of them (Apple iPhone) I still prefer keypad. Regular keypad (numbers only) also isn't good enough because I like the qwerty one. There are some disadvantages of touch keyboards: you can't type without directly looking at your display and that also means you can't type while driving (I'm not proud of it but I do it sometimes), some touch keyboards aren't sensitive enough or too sensitive and typing could be a nightmare so I suggest you to try a cellphone before buying one like this. Advantages of the touch keyboards are: larger screen (there is no keypad so there is a space for a bigger screen), interface is better than on the cellphones with regular keyboards and touch phones are nice when you want to show off (but it won't last long because the cellphone industry is making more and more cellphones with touchscreens so it isn't something new anymore...). Cellphones will definitely be a fashion!

touch screens are now the "in" thing in cellphones. but i still prefer the cellphone controlled by keypad because with the touch screen, you still have to use a stick in order for you to press on the screen, otherwise if you use a finger, plenty of keys will be pressed at the same time considering the size of your finger over the size of the option on the screen.
have a nice day!

I prefer keypad. I think that keypad is easier to use because I can feel the touch on the keys.

i prefer to use a touchpad to control my cellphone, because it is very easy to select the menu that we want and if we want to type a SMS it is very quick it's not like keypad that we have to push the button more than once to type the words that we want.but the weakness is we have to use our cellphone with two hands, if we use a keypad we just need one hand to use our cellphone especially if we have to type a SMS

I think brother Keypad too good then touch screen. Because i had the Motorokr E60 it was a touch screen phone. In the start i liked that mobile too much just because its attractive looks and function. But after some days i saw a lots of scratch on mobile screen and after 5-6 months. the touch also worked slow because of scratch. then i decide to sold it and after that i purchased Nokia N96 its still working good from 1 years. So from my opinion Keypad is best then touch screen.
